Disappointed it does not have cellular
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the iPad from Best Buy. The first time not purchasing at Apple. I was disappointed the sales person did not review the options for cellular, I assumed all the iPads had options for cellular and did not ask. I have always had cellular on my iPads. I purchased the iPad before Christmas as a present, and did not not the iPad right away. The iPad sales person was very nice, but unfortunately did not review all of the options/features. I went to exchange the iPad, and somehow the screen was already scratched, so Best Buy would not exchange...even though I had purchased the apple care. Bummer. I do not know how the screen was scratched, but disappointed they would to return even if I paid for the new screen. Wondering if the new screens are not very durable. I also wish that Apple for the $100 difference or whatever it is ...would just make cellular an option. Why not, the price difference is not that much. I have had several iPads, iPhones and apple computers. I am fully integrated.

Overrated
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Apple products are overplayed and overrated. I bought this as a mini photoeditor, but it just doesnt translate lightroom as well. I know how precise it is for doodling and drawing but not precise enough for photoediting. I think its all hype.

Really?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to go with my new Sony FDR - X3000 4K video cam for an upcoming vacation. Took forever to figure anything out on this piece of junk. This product is not intuitive at all. Can't do anything without an apple ID. Went to create an apple ID and the screen froze to a white blank screen that wouldn't go away no matter what I did. Bought an HDMI cable to connect cam and iPad...nothing. Bought a usb cable to connect cam to iPad...nothing. Took forever but finally figured out how to get the two devices together using WiFi. However, the controls are minimal and the video keeps randomly freezing creating a choppy video. Bluetooth never showed the cam on the iPad but no worries bluetooth only allows you to turn the cam on and off (if it works). Here's the best part of all...I bought a card reader to go with the iPad so I could just remove the micro sd card and import it with the reader. Nope, can't do it. The iPad won't recognize the file even though it says it recognizes lots of different formats. Looked it up and you have to change the file name somehow to get the iPad to recognize it. So let me get this straight...I will need to bring a laptop or something with a card reader in it so that I can take the micro sd card from the cam and put it into the computer that will recognize it so that I can change the file name so that the iPad will recognize it. Does anyone else think this is ridiculous? So I have no connection (HDMI, usb, WiFi or Bluetooth) to the iPad and can't import the photos and vids to the iPad so what good is the iPad? NONE! Also, I was unable to figure out how to turn off the iPad. Everything on line said to hold two buttons down at the same time but my iPad only has one button. My wife was able to figure out how to turn it off but by then I was so ticked off that I didn't even ask how she did it. This is one of the least intuitive products I've seen in some time. Never again.
