    Overall the iPad Pro is everything you need from a tablet. As an engineering student, the iPad Pro has enough power to run things smoothly. The Apple Pencil is essential for taking notes. I like being able to access my files through Apple iCloud which allows me to leave for class and never forgetting to carry a piece of paper with me. Highly recommend for any student.

    I’ve been an all thing Apple fan since the first iPhone. I had the first iPad version then iPad 2nd generation. When the iPad Air came out I had to have it. It became my favorite tablet. After getting the iPhone XS Max with Face ID I had to upgrade to the iPad Pro, also with Face ID. I’m very glad I did. I have to admit I don’t use nearly all the features of the iPad Pro, but the features I do use I love.

    The iPad itself is awesome - great screen, great speed, nothing to complain about. My one issue is not really with the device but with Apple's port strategy. I have an iPhone Xs WHICH I JUST BOUGHT and uses a lightning port and this iPad uses a USB-C. I know there are switching times and issues, but buying an iPhone and an iPad at the same time and having two different charging ports, menaing you have to carry two different cables, is annoying and shows a lack of design detail by Apple. Plus, if you want to connect this iPad to an iMac (which I also just bought recently) to do things like local iTunes backup or syncing local videos, there is no way to connect this iPad to an iMac because the cable that comes with this is USB-C on both ends - you will need to get some different cable or hub to allow USB-C to USB.
