Nice product, expensive value proposition
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This tablet is cutting edge. I received this tablet from best buy through 0% financing and verizon. The tablet itself functions well, has USB-c (get with it Apple on the iphones...), and face id. Its a perfect match for an Apple-themed household. I have nearly replaced all my samsung gear with apple gear over the last year. The tablet works just like the iphone XSmax, except it has a larger screen. Everything else is nearly the same (button placement is obviously different). There is no home key, which as a new iphone user I don't mind, but I hear my apple fan boy friends complain about. Still, I have to wonder, even with the $200 discount and 0% APR via Verizon, if the tablet is worth the cost. I have the cash to burn, so for me its a no-brainer. For others, it may be an expensive toy. The 1tb that I bought is a bit overkill. I have a 512gb iphone, and that is also overkill, but nothing worse than running out of storage. I probably would have been satisified with the 512gb version.
