    This iPad would not be able to replace my laptop, but it is very good for media consumption and note taking. For a while, I wanted to get a Surface Pro so that I could have both note-taking and computing power in one device, but I went with an iPad and MacBook Air combo instead, mainly because I wanted to try something new. Maybe it's going to take some getting used to, but the iPad is fairly underwhelming: multitasking is unintuitive, connecting to an external display only mirrors the screen, and there's no calculator. However, the main pro of this iPad is the 120 Hz screen, which feels much more smooth to write notes with.
