Great iPad

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I previously had an iPad mini 2, and though it was time to upgrade. i went with the pro model to hopefully replace some uses of my laptop. Overall, I've enjoyed the iPad. I don't use it as much as I thought I would as a computer replacement (some of this is because word-processing apps cost money and it's easier to do with a computer). I love the connection between my other apple devices. The resolution is amazing. Great battery life. My biggest disappointment was how smudgy the screen gets. In doing research, apparently this is a known issue with this and a screen protector would help too. I got to the point where I just didn't care enough about the smudges, but it was hard :) Overall, this is geared towards artists (which I am not one), but it is still great for everyday use. If you're looking for a cheaper version, look at the iPad Air or just the iPad. Apple does a fantastic job with tablets, and that's seen here.

Wonderful for medical students

I was trying to streamline my studiesand cut on the amount, AND WEIGHT, of the stuff I needed to have with me while studying. My back and shoulders just could not take the abuse of a heavy backpack and a bag of textbooks around anymore. iPad allowed me to both write all my notes digitally and access and annotate my pdf books so its the only thing I use for school. Couldn't be happier
