I love my new iPad Pro, I can't wait to use it for school!

Love my new Apple IPad! It's a must with the IPad pencil

I bought this iPad pro 12.9 a couple days ago after months of researching professional reviews and user reviews, after numerous hours and hours if research, and waiting to see if Apple would release a new iPad pro mid year (2018), I finally said go BIG or go home and boy is this thing amazing! I've been a iOS user for 10 years plus I've owned over a dozen different iPad models and this one completely blows the rest out of the water, the processor, the screen resolution, the camera, the battery life of twelve hours plus,multi tasking, weight everything about this tablet is top of the line and more than abalone would need, I made the decision to pair it with the apple pencil and that only adds to the excellence, if your looking for the tip top of the line package and the best of the best this is it!! Go Apple!!

I've had a MacBook for years and needed a replacement. I went with an iPad pro but returned it because it did not work well with Google Docs and Google Sheets. I wish it had allowed better editing features.

If you are planning to replace your laptop, don't waste time and money. I tested for one discussion board post for my college, I gave up and returned it. I know iOS 11 has some promise for iPads but I can see no tablet can replace your laptop. Surface Pro 4 is little close, but it is a laptop, not a tablet. You can't buy one vehicle that can fill in for both Fiat 500 and F150. Both have different use cases.

Had some difficulty using the "folders" app and split screen

The IPad Pro did not come on when opened. The Geek Squad couldn't get it to transfer data. They kept saying they didn't have good internet service at the store. Finally, after two hours, they told me to take it home and do it myself. I took it home and it locked up. I took it back and they could never unlock it. I got my money back. Very unhappy.

I had this guy for two weeks. It crashed. I purchased it on-line but I took it back to a local Best Buy. They wanted an additional 40 bucks for sales tax. I said goodby. Will go to Amazon in the future.

Isnt compatible with most apps. Everything looks strange on it.

The screen is too big very it doesn’t respond and freezes, updates didn’t fix it

I needed a drawing tablet for my high-end desktops (iMac 5K and custom Windows 10 tower). With this 12.9" iPad Pro, I can use an app to pass pen input to the PCs, great for apps like Photoshop and Mudbox (Duet on iOS). Other devices could do this too, like a laptop with pen input or cintiq tablet, but I can find several ways the iPad Pro is a superior companion device to my high-end desktops. The screen is incredible. It is very bright and ProMotion makes every movement silky smooth. Daytime-use was no problem in this Florida Summer cookout weather. The iPad Pro is surprisingly light and thin (it feels lighter than my old iPad 4). It looks and feels like you're drawing directly on the screen, and the mobile apps for drawings and productivity are better than any other tablet this mobile. It sounds better than expected too - loud and full sounding (better than MacBook Pro). When I need to access my desktop, the same remote management apps I use for my clients and personal desktops works with iOS. In a single long-tap, I can remote in and control my desktop (over a personal hotspot, too). I use this iPad Pro for note-taking in meetings. The Pencil input for markup and notes is better than my old paper notepad. As a developer, I've been testing iOS 11 on it for a few weeks and I love the way it handles multi-tasking and split-view. Drag & Drop on this near 13" screen is desktop-level functionality but totally optimized for touch-mobility. It took a moment to get used to how many new interactions there are, but it feels completely natural now. Some think pointer-input is required for it to be a "pro" device, but personally I find the Pencil to be more accurate than a Mouse, and the touch interface to work better with my fingers and those types of 'pointers' than an old cursor. Every app and interface is designed for touch and gestures, not a mouse. Overall, the 2017 12.9" iPad Pro is the perfect companion device to those with a high-end desktop that need some portability, a device that is the best at what it does, and offers simple ways to extend the functionality when needed. In a lot of ways, if I don't need my desktop's raw power, I see this being my primary device for most everyday computing needs.

Constant trouble with ipad pro. Back to store again. Device won’t charge.

I have completely replaced my laptop with the iPad Pro. For general browsing, reading, netflix, etc, the iPad Pro is perfect. This thing is lightning fast and the screen is amazing.

This is a great gift for a college student or teenagers

It works as I expected with iOS 11. I’ve had many iPads before and this one basically is the same to me. Sure it has a large display but I don’t like how bulky it can be to carry around. All in all if it’s going to be a tablet replacement it should have at least been shipped with a keyboard. Apples Smart Keyboard is 169$ and well I’m fine with the price,the face you can’t even use they keyboard to type on your lap is definitely stupid on apples part.

This apple ipad is exactly what i wanted. Big screen. And excellent color.

This iPad had been great for my daughter she love it only thing is I have to monitor what she download does not have a lot of space to download apps and games Roblox and YouTube kids are enough lol
