Wrong generation
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this only to find out it was a second generation, not a third. The home button is the tell. 3rd and 4th generation do not have home buttons. Also, the 2nd generation doesn't work with the 2nd generation apple pencil so that was a loss as well.

it's big, beautiful and pointless
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.don't waste your time, buy a laptop. This is a clumsy "me too" device that wants to be a Surface Pro or SP-Clone without functionality. it's an apple product so it is sexy, well built and over-priced

This iPad seriously can replace your laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very skeptical at first when people told me that an iPad could replace my laptop. I purchased the 2017 iPad Pro with a Logitech Slim Keyboard case... and all I can say is WOW. It truly feels like a laptop... especially with IOS 11 and the right dongles. I use my iPad for video editing with an application called Luma Fusion, and everything works very well. Give it some real thought and I’ll bet that most people can get away with just using this iPad Pro instead of a traditional laptop.

It just works
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from my 1st generation 12.9" iPad Pro since I was about to run out of storage space on the 128GB model. This unit is just as responsive, and it's reassuring knowing the added horsepower should run new apps and iOS 11 without complaints. With 512GB of storage, I imported my entire music collection and several 1GB+ apps which I didn't dare load onto the 128GB iPad. This was $100 dollars more than the 1st generation model, but I now have almost 400GB more storage available. I will leave it to others to comment on any improvements they might see in speed and screen quality. Were it not for my need for the additional storage, I probably would have held off on upgrading so soon since the 1st generation model worked flawlessly for me.

Ok
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has a Touch ID problem. Purchased 3 2nd gen iPad Pro 12.9 and all of them showed Touch ID problems, when the Touch ID would no longer recognize or response. Returned all of the for an exchange.
