Shutting down background programs is a little more difficult than before and can be frustrating. Overall though it has been a good experience and I would buy one again.

slight improvement over 2017

Twice the storage and the type c port are major upgrades. I like the smaller bezel and removal of the home button. I dont like the change to the smart keyboard connector. From a latency perspective, it seems faster. I have less instances of having to reopen a frozen app. The ios 12.3 update went slower actually. That may be due to more features. Overall slight improvement.

Great Tablet

I wanted to be able to add it to my cell plan. This purchase allowed me do that. I had to get a new SIM card from our carrier and ready I am. I need to be able to do Zoom on the move plus much more and this tablet allows me the functionality needed to perform tasks.

Same old?

It’s the same as the others just a tiny bit faster with a little bigger harddrive. Definitely not worth the price for what it is. We have always liked Apple but there Chinese made stuff is extremely overpriced. We went from a 4 (can’t even enjoy because some app’s won’t allow updates anymore) to this and we are not impressed at all. Nothing on this thing has made our family jump for joy to say “ Wow, what an improvement Apple! Good job! ” Its so boring, we are not sure if we will keep it this time. Same ol’ same ol’
