This is a great iPad! It downloads data really fast, and the apps open up super quick. The screen is really big for a tablet, and provides great resolution and color! There are 4 speakers that give you great sound when listening to various apps or other data; even music. (Keeping in mind it's not a stereo.) It's also very light, and the shape makes it easy to handle and hold on to. I bought it with the Magic Keyboard, and the two work great together! The only reason I didn't give it a 5, is because when I connect it to my iMac (which runs High Sierra; getting a new iMac soon) it will not allow me to sync and download photos off of it. It will allow you to access photos off of the iCloud, but that's it. I did it, and it gave me old photos that I barely look at. Newer photos (2-3 years ago) are not accessible. Even photos that I recently took with my iPhone don't appear. I guess I need to contact Apple. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Regardless, I think you will be very happy with it. It really is like having a small computer at your fingertips.

A more than capable laptop substitute.

I bought this as a substitute for my laptop which is a 2012 MacBook Pro. I am a photographer and I was skeptical of the iPad Pro’s capability to edit photos in Lightroom. Many of the same features on the full version of Lightroom are available on the iPad and the pencil makes it so intuitive. In fact, if there are any features that aren’t available on the iPad Pro version of Lightroom, I simply haven’t missed them. The Apple Pencil is a must. One additional reason I bought the iPad Pro over a MacBook, was the ability to draw and illustrate. Combined with a paper like screen protector, the iPad Pro is a great tool for artists. It has the feel of paper and responsiveness needed to create illustrations. I am truly impressed. If there’s room for opportunity for the iPad Pro, it is in data processing apps such as Excel and Google Sheets. It can be cumbersome to copy and paste data from tables and Google Sheets doesn’t make it easy to import spreadsheets into an existing sheet. A Bluetooth mouse and keyboard are a must. I would recommend this as a tool for artists, photographers and creative professionals. The intuitive touch capabilities and actions enable creativity without restricting users. I would be cautious about making this a substitute for a laptop users who find themselves coding or toiling through spreadsheets of data. It simply isn’t for everyone, but it works great for me.

Fast, Incredible Graphics, and remarkably light for it’s size, this is the ultimate tablet. Combine this with the Apple Pencil and you have a remarkable tool for work, research, school, entertainment, communication, or just about anything you can imagine. Works seamlessly with iMac, MacBook, iPhone, Apple Watch, and can interface with Windows computers, through a variety of apps. The serious tablet that makes so many tasks easier. This is my 3rd iPad and it just keeps getting better!

Omg i love it! Ive always been an apple fan, and all my devices from watches to Laptop are Apple Brand. However my old ipad was getting pretty old. It was a Ipad 2 Mini i believe. It still works pretty good but i needed something Bigger that i can do my school work from. So of course I opted for this ipd 4th generation 12.9 pro and i LOVE IT! its big enough to see details, the camera is unbelievable, and it runs so smoothly. Favorite purchase this year!

bought the 12.9 in 2020 ipad to replace my android tab 3 that suddenly died. mine is the 256g model. screen is very bright and clear, only running brightness at half. purchased apple pencil also, pencil makes clicking sounds on glass. have ordered screen protectors from amazon which should take care of clicking. screen without protector is very slick with plastic tip on apple pencil. battery life is good. currently lasts over two days with casual use. wifi is on, blue tooth is on. if you turn off wifi, bluetooth, it turns them back on the next day for some reason. only way to disable wifi/bluetooth is to put in airplane mode. was turning off to safe battery, but it doesnt seem to matter with new ipad. maybe an issue as battery ages. sound is good, very clear. con is every app costs around $9 to get the full version of it. some apps want let you try before you buy and require you to sign up for a free trial just to check out their software. i use this for work and play. make notes for engineering, draw sketches in medibang paint pro. purchased procreate, but has a steep learning curve, nothing is intuitive in procreate. found calculator app that lets you write equations instead of typing them great app. web browsing is ok, relatively fast depending on your connection. safari app is weird the way it saves bookmarks. installed firefox. purchased the 2yr protection plan since this thing cost $1050. have had 4 tablets in the last 10 years, dropped two, one died, hedging my bets on this one with protection plan. palm rejection in very good for most apps buy a good case for it, but be careful that the apple pencil can be attached and charged with the new case. purchased a real leather case from amazon ($58) and had to send it back because the pencil would not connect while the tablet was in the case. is the best tablet i have had so far. had one windows, two droids, this is the first IOS tablet. there are many IOS secrets to learn switching from a droid, but google works well for this.

I absolutely love this iPad. The screen is beautiful, the camera is amazing and everything works so fast as fluid. Coming from older apple equipment with a home button, so I'm still getting used to the gestures needed to operate it. And the fact that you need to use two buttons to turn it on/off. I'm learning the new system but it's the best iPad I've ever had. For my needs it even replaces a laptop. I also bought the apple pencil and a separate keyboard and mouse. I give it two thumbs up.

This latest iPad Pro was everything that the Apple rep and Best Buy customer rep said it would be. Great size and picture for watching movies or tv shows and this iPad Pro replaces the computer and monitor that I have been using. The camera is fantastic and the size and speed of this iPad Pro replaces my need for a camera and the hassle of taking a computer or monitor along when I take trips. To truly sum up my review: one will no longer need a camera, PC or monitor with this product.

I upgraded from the 11 inch iPad Pro (2018) to help with multitasking. The 11 inch version worked great, but I wanted a bigger screen so that I could see more when having two apps side by side. The 2020 iPad Pro is fast, has a battery that lasts for a whole day, and is now my primary computer for Word processing, emails, note taking, research and media consumption. I use the iPad Pro with the Magic Keyboard, which is a great accessory.

This is actually my second IPad Pro. I bot the first (cringing because of the cost) as I wanted something with which I could work and travel and also work from home. I was so impressed with the iPad Pro that I bot this 2nd one as well to replace my computer at work. I paired it with the magic keyboard, which is a great typing experience as well as the airbus pro. Was it expensive. Yes, but frankly my desk looks more professional, I don’t have cords all over the place, everything works together seamlessly and the Pro is actually faster than my old desk top and laptop. Encryption is tight on this thing, no more buying a bunch of security programs I have to update every year. I love the fact that the magic keyboard is a portable cover as well and I can charge my iPad through the keyboard leaving the side port free to charge my air buds. Definitely worth it to me. Easiest computer ever to set up and I didn’t even have to have my daughter show me how to do it. Oh, and when you get the second one, you just start it up next to the first and it pretty much sets itself up for you. Airbud Pros are phenomenal. I love the fact that if I am watching a business video or news and I have to pull my bud out to answer a question the iPad pauses the video until I put the bud back in.

I particularly wanted this tablet because of the larger screen size and the better speakers. However it is also extremely fast and easy to use. You cannot beat Apple products. The larger size tablet can take some getting used to, but it’s worth the effort. I never had a laptop so I can’t compare it to that. For me it is an excellent addition to complement my desktop. This allows me to move around the house and still have an excellent computer to work on.

Upgraded my two-year-old iPad Air to the 12.9 iPad Pro and absolutely love it. The screen is so big and the processor is so responsive. I also really like that it has a full QWERTY keyboard. (No more having to click the 123 button in the lower corner to type numbers or to access symbols.) Charging is via a usb-c and there is not a headphone jack so you need to have Bluetooth headphones or I purchased an Apple usb-c to 3.5 headphone dongle.

Always wanted an Ipad and wasn't disappointed, display is clear and apps are easy to run, battery life lasts long, does everything i want it to do. Haven't used it yet to take notes but everyone in family has one and with the apple pencil, this is their go to for classes. I use it for email, zoom meetings and surfing the net. I have a mac desktop so didn't need a macbook but ipad works for me especially with the apple keyboard.

The processor is much faster in comparison to the previous iPads. It has an outstanding resolution and the picture quality is amazing. Personally, it is very useful to my daily life. Most specially for school work. The split screen is very efficient when it comes to taking notes and it saves a amount of time from going back and for to view the other screens.Sounds quality is fantastic too. Overall, I am very satisfied with this device.

I have owned a 2017 iPad Air. The 2020 iPad Pro 12.9 inch device is a huge leap forward. Truly an awesome piece of art. Vastly superior to my old one. The fact that you can hookup a SSD drive to it and play all of my videos, music and media is awesome. The camera is great and the processor light years ahead of my old iPad. The logic tech slim keyboard is also a great match with this device.
