Customers highly value the 12.9-inch iPad Pro's large screen size, ease of use, and strong performance. Many also appreciate its long battery life and lightweight design. However, some customers find the price to be high, and a few have experienced issues with the Apple Pencil. Overall, the positive feedback on key features outweighs the negative comments.

Paired with the apple pencil, the ipad pro is a workhorse. Perfect for school and work related tasks. The pencil makes it to where you dont have to type to search but instead can write words or letters into search boxes or in Microsoft word. The ease of use and multitasking/multiple windows makes this a great cheaper option than a macbook and can complete basic tasks.

I love the large high definition screen, especially for drawing and editing videos. I can get a good couple hours of work done before needing to charge it. I have not run out of space yet but it is worth considering a higher GB option.

I bought this for doing digital art and Procreate. I got the apple pencil too. Amazing in every way. I absolutely love it. Battery is impressive and the screen quality is just unparalleled. I was pleasantly surprised at the sound quality, too. I really had no idea iPads had come so far since I last bought one about 6 years ago.

Bought this version instead of the M4 as I don't do art so don't need the Pencil Pro. iPadOS still underutilizes the M2 so everything runs exceptional for me. I don't really run too many games on it and I would expect any real difference to show for very few games anyways. I do notice the screen differences between this and the M4 that I do own (OLED looks amazing) but not enough to really bother or concern me. The 500 price jump to the M4 compared to this one just isn't worth it in my opinion. If you can find one of this at a good price I would jump on it!! Unless you are an artist that wants the new Pencil Pro and better color accuracy that is....

This was exactly the upgrade I needed. I’ve used this for work, school, and personal design projects. I genuinely thought I would miss my MacBook, but I truly cannot imagine being able to do what I’ve done on my iPad Pro.

Great condition even as an open box item. Save money and bought accessories needed like covers pencil and screen protector. Used it primarily for guitar chords it’s so much better than a laptop and for writing and browsing and Lightroom and over it’s great.

I love it! The best part is being able to have Split View! I am in college and it’s helped so much in taking notes and seeing the PowerPoint at once. Battery last long and the speakers are loud! Overall very happy with my purchase

Some of the iPad’s strengths are:
iOS/iPadOS is widely viewed as being more user-friendly than Google’s Android OS or even Windows.
Apple’s App Store is exclusive to iOS/iPadOS devices and contains millions of free and paid apps, many of which are specifically designed for the iPad. Apple’s curation and approval process are also stringent, which significantly decreases the risk of apps containing malware.
Close integration with other Apple products. You can seamlessly share data across your iPad, iPhone, Mac, and other Apple devices through Apple ID, iCloud, and other account features.
Arguably the industry-standard device for designers thanks to its pressure and tilt sensitivity technology, Apple Pencil (sold separately), and powerful iOS versions of apps like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Simple, clean user interface that has maintained a consistent design through years of updates.
What Disadvantages Does an iPad Have Compared to a Tablet?
Ironically, many of the features that set the iPad apart from other tablets are also what holds it back. Due to Apple’s widespread use of proprietary technology and hardware, iPad tablets are less customizable and may not integrate as well with your non-Apple devices.
Some of the iPad’s weaknesses are:
Limited storage expansion options. Unlike many Android and Microsoft tablets, iPads don’t have SD or microSD card slots. You’re stuck with the amount of internal storage the iPad came with unless you use a compatible external drive.
Lack of customization options. While the iPad OS is generally more intuitive, Android tablets are built around customization.
Multitasking. Although iPad models that support iPadOS can run multiple apps at the same time, multitasking isn’t possible on older models.
iPads are generally more expensive than comparable Android tablets.

So far I am enjoying my pad. The size makes it much better for watching video. The main reason I purchased it was to utilize for chords/lyrics in my live musical performances, as well as to watch video while traveling or working out. It excels at both. Battery life is great for me so far. I'm enjoying having a pad.

M2 processor, amazing display, superfast, USB-C. You can't go wrong with an iPad Pro. New professional apps being added all the time. Highly recommend as a replacement for a traditional computer or a fantastic companion to a Mac computer and iPhone!

The cost of the device is unbelievably high, but I needed to get an iPad as I am a student and needed the full 12.9” screen size. The only way I could justify it was getting an open-boxed model. Device is great as expected and has great responsiveness to stylus (as my gen 2 apple pencil decided to stop working a day after I picked up the device so that was fun). My primary use is taking notes, managing homework, using Procreate, and editing photos. Checks all the boxes. This is my third iPad Pro 12.9”, I previously had the original model and the gen 3. Most recently I was borrowing an iPad Air 5, but needed to switch to this. Much faster than the iPad Air 5 and obviously has more features and a larger display. Great device, but again, expensive. Get it open-boxed - just my opinion.

Very clear screen imagery. Very fast response. Works very well with Magic Keyboard. Given that I previously used Microsoft laptop, I have a bit of a learning curve and need to learn/become comfortable with the key shortcuts. Overall a great system.

This thing is a beast. I travel a lot and use the iPad for public speaking purposes and was traveling with my MacBook Air and an ipad to use for speaking. Was getting tired of traveling with my MacBook and an iPad so I opted for the iPad Pro 12.9 with Magic Keyboard and it works flawlessly with the new stage manager feature. I can’t say that it will “replace” my laptop, but it will “fill in” for it while I travel so I can travel a little lighter. For the basic computing needs such as email, web browsing, video content, word processing, etc the iPad will be more than sufficient. In fact I’m using for it school and it works perfectly, if you are wanting to do video editing with plugins and such you will want to stay with a MacBook.
