It is fast and really nice to read from. Not too heavy. Now the bad, no one is rushing to change their Apps to compliment the Ipad Pro. Some Apps look worse with the bigger screen. USA Today E-Mail is just as small as the older Ipads. I keep looking for Apps to show the thing off, but nothing stands out yet.

We got this as an upgrade for us. We do not have a laptop and we use this for everything, at home and when traveling. It is quick and the screen is large enough that I can see words and pictures much clearer. This was an awesome purchase!

I have had every iPad there is...this one by far the best ever...its big and again its big...the Retina display is awesome...I got the 128GB...But I take a lot of photos...little pricey but if ur a apple geek it doesn't matter...just go for it...I wouldn't spend my money on any other brand...luvin my PRO.

Ok, so i had a surface pro 4 a few different times. One was faulty the other worked ok, but glitchy. I actually was mostly happy with it because it was the only real option for portable art tablets. Especially since it can run all the art programs i just bought to get back into doing digital art after being 10 years away from it. I have an ipad mini 2nd gen that i use for 90% of all my daily computing needs. Unfortunately the mini has become way too small for my day to day tasks. As good as the surface pro was i really didnt use it that much except to draw for an hour or so then id go back to the ipad. After reading many reviews on the internet and watching lots of demos and reviews on youtube for the ipad pro with the pencil i decided to hunt down both and give it a try. Luckily BestBuy just happened to have the pencil available for purchase online, and they had a few ipad pros in 128g in stock at my local store. I picked up the ipad pro that day and it was very nice, i liked it a lot but i have to say days later i still am not used to how truley massive this thing is. Even though its only half an inch larger then the surface pro 4 it seems more like 2 or 3 inches bigger. Everthing is super fast and ive had no glitches or any problems at all. I have been very happy with its performance. But the best part of all is when i recieved the elusive and rare apple pencil 2 days ago and started to draw with it i was blown away. It really is the closest thing to drawing with a real pencil on real paper. I never got this level of realism, fun, and joy with the surface pro 4 and its pen stylus. (Even though it did have a really cool eraser feature). The apps like Procreate and MediBang Paint can do most of all the functions my desktop art programs can do so i am completly happy and dont feel like i am settling with mobile apps. The funny thing is i really love the simple notes app that Apple provides as a stock app for the coolest experiance of drawing with a pencil on paper. Ipads have always been my favorite go to for everyday computing and this one with the ability to carry around a portable art studio is for me nothing short of perfection.

The iPad Pro is a very fast device and has a large beautiful retina screen. The 128gb model is a great option for holding plenty of apps and future iOS updates. I believe the future for the iPad pro line is very bright with new iOS updates including stand out features that will maximize it's potential.

I wanted the Ipad Pro to do jigsaw puzzles. The large screen size is ideal for this. Love, love, love it. I find Safari to be super fast. Also watching Netflix on the huge screen is awesome.

Finally replaced most day to day usage of my laptop with this. Previously I was using a iPad Air 2 and found myself running back to my Mac (no pun intended) for web surfing, but this works perfectly. Only things I consider a downside are the price is a bit to high and the not all apps are developed to look well yet, but that Is to be expected for larger screens in their first year.

Previous iPads just didn't cut it for me. For a long time I've been waiting for Apple to make an iPad that was at least 8 1/2 by 11. With the release of the iPad pro, Apple finally came through for me! This product is perfect for my needs.

I have owned every ipad since the Ipad 2. I primarly used them for heavy note taking and reading and despite not having full proper stylus support it was the best at notetaking . The ability to finally use a stylus with plam rejection, larger screen and split screen view has been something that I have wanted on an ipad for years now. Its finally here and it all works pretty good. the only problem now is I think apple sat on these changes far too long for Microsoft to now offer a more useful tablet hybrid. yes I said it, sadly after using this ipad for almost a month I had to return it as I had gotten very accustom to a surface pro 4 that I had own also. the Ipad is just not that useful today. I am giving it 4 stars simply because I know its not a laptop and for a tablet its best in class. not sure who I can recommend this to since I feel professionals would probably gravitate to something more closer to a laptop or if light weight tablet is preferred regular ipad air is just fine.

This iPad is the perfect size for reading news, watching movies and reading emails for people like me who like reading things at a decent font size. It is about the size of a legal pad. I also have an iPad mini, iPad Air 2 and this is the only iPad I use daily. Be warned that it feels a lot heavier than the smaller iPads and is uncomfortable to use for more than a few minutes being held. I solved the problem by getting 2 floor standing ipad pro compatible stands. One I use next to my bed and one in my living room. That way I can read or watch a movie comfortably without having to hold it. In fact with the stand I can even position it so I can watch a movie while lying flat on my back. While I could do the same thing with my smaller iPads those screens are too small for my liking. Be warned this is NOT anything close to a real laptop replacement. I still use my MacBook Pro for creating stuff and work.The iPad is more for media consumption than creation.

A laptop sized screen and 128 gb of ram. What am I missing? Bright beautiful screen and like 20 hours of battery life. Place it on the dash in the center and its like the display in a Tesla. Wished they had the pencil in stock.

I was in the market for a lap top and somehow walked out of the store with this 12.9'' beauty. I recently sold my 2012 MacBook Pro that I used post college. For my job I really need something portable, fast, and easy to use. Since I use a password for work I am able to use my iPad Pro for all my business travel and fun. I love the pencil which is sold separately. i use mostly excel for work and love that I can sync my documents from pc to iPad. And my Microsoft office that I bought for my pc came with a code for MS office for tablet. So it's worked out perfectly for me so far for browsing the web, emails and Microsoft office.

I have got the original iPad2 , iPad Air 2 iPhone 6plus and the iPad pro . The price may be a little high but worth it. Love this iPad pro only wish you got the keyboard in the price too. I love apples operating system, fast, never had a virus , easy to use .you can't go wrong with Apple !

I like the ipad pro i went from an ipad 4 to the pro the speakers are awesome the screen size is good. but even though developers had a few month to optimize their apps they didnt do so. the finger print scanner is slow and i have the 6s plus. it doesnt have hey siri without the device being plugged up. Now if you dont have a 6s or 6s plus some of those issues you wont care for. The apps will get optimized but you would like in today's world things to be suited for the devices you buy. Overall great device, it will get better down the road for sure.

I still have my 1st generation iPad. Still use it and still Love it. I also have a 'mini' and an 'Air.' Yes ... I Love iPads! This new 'Pro' is really the Ultimate, and will likely be the reason I never touch my laptop again. It's fast, the display is Beautiful, and the sound is great. It's Huge but easy to hold. I can't see myself carrying it around much, but it's quickly becoming a fixture in my lap when I'm relaxing at home. As always, my buying experience was 'Aces' at Best Buy! I think the 'Pro' is the Best iPad yet ... and that's saying something!

I was looking forward to buy this iPad, since I heard it will be coming on the market. Having a iPad Mini I thought now was the time to upgrade big time, and I wasn't disappointed! So much faster and a nice big clear screen. If you look for a new iPad and have some $$$ this is the one!

This is my first Apple iPad. I am amazed at the Retina Display on this iPad. I have a Samsung 4K TV and this display is as clear as my 4K. The sound is bright and clear with the four stereo speakers. The IOS X9 is great. Cameras are excellent. Am waiting for my keyboard. Great product.

The new iPad Pro offers very few enhancements. Larger screen, faster processor and better sound. The product is starting to look a bit outdated.

I was eager to try the newest iPad and now that I have it I am not disappointed at all. The speed of the processor is more than I could have imagined over my last two iPads. I love the size of the iPad Pro and the battery life so far is superior to anything that I have had before.

I was pretty excited to get the new iPad Pro, mainly because I'm a gadget geek, but I also love my iPad Air and use it almost as much as my iMac. So, I was interested in the advantages of the larger Pro screen, which looks sharp but not dazzling. Movies look great on the Pro, but email isn't as sharp as one would expect. Compared to my iPad Air, the Pro is massive, yet it is surprisingly light. I'm sure that will change once I add a keyboard to the device. I am more of an observer of material and data on my Pro, not a creator. I imagine, however, that an artist or graphic designer would love the Pro's screen size and sharpness. Be aware that if you don't have the current iOS (El Capitan) you won't be able to synch your Pro with the iTunes library on your iMac. (It took me awhile and a call to Apple Support) to figure that out. Battery life is about the same as my other iPads, which is to say, not long enough, but acceptable. Given a bit more time and practice, I'm sure the iPad Pro will become more useful to me, but right now it's just another amazing Apple gizmo.
