A fantastic product, and the display is the absolute best on the market. However, this product may be geared as a potential computer replacement, rather than a tablet. With the limitations of iPadOS, it could never replace a MacBook.

I selected the 12.9” iPad Pro (2021) to replace my 10+ year old MacBook Air which no longer took a charge and could not take OS updates. I did get the Pencil (gen 2) because I was intrigued with the idea writing/drawing, but the vast majority of my inputs are still keyboard/trackpad - likely because of my MacBook Air experience. And I type much faster than I can write with the Pencil. I opted for the Logitech case/keyboard combination. This enables me to separate the keyboard and use it as a tablet, and gives me some edge protection that the Magic Keyboard does not provide. I like the newer iPad Pro features, particularly the ability to multi-task in split screen. We’re it not for that, I might have stayed with the MacBook platform. It’s taken a little adjustment to the OS, but I’m still happy with the decision. I know the screen is supposed to be much better, but I don’t notice it much. And I’m sure I won’t give the processor a lot of demand. I haven’t measured or challenged the battery life, but my impression is that I would get a full day on a single charge. This bar is low for me, because I’m really just happy to be untethered from my old, dead-battery MacBook Air. This hardware configuration and accessories cost several hundred dollars more than simply replacing the laptop, but at this point It was the right choice.

The iPad Pro is the best tablet I have had. I upgraded from a 2016 10.5 iPad pro that had started to show the heavy daily use. It takes a little time to get used to since it has a different charging port and no headphone plug and it is a little heavy. The screen is great to stream content and read web pages.

The screen size is awesome. If you’re going to spend the money on an iPad get this one.

This tablet with the M1 chip is super fast and has an excellent screen. It was a bit heavier and bigger than I expected, but it makes for a nice second display. I would recommend trying out both the 11 inch and 12.9 inch in store before purchasing because the size matters more than the screen, imo.

Replaced iPad that was purchased 2015. Great screen, speed and camera.

I've never owned an ipad before this one, but I have had tablets. This thing is a thousand times better than those tablets but also 10x more expensive. I mainly got this for art and it has been the best upgrade I've ever made. I previously had a surface pro and it sucked for drawing. This has no input lag, and the apple pencil is super smooth and easy to use but is also not too slippery on the screen.

Awesome product fast and works great. I love this tablet. I also got the magic keyboard and wow it’s like having a touchscreen laptop. I just view content and email and just FaceTime and browse and with just that it rocks. Promotion and the mini led 12.9 xdr screen is just beautiful not to mention the M1 chip wow just wow.

My 3rd iPad. I’m in love!! Super fast & extremely responsive. I purchased the Apple Magic keyboard with it & it is AHHHMAZING! It replaces the need for a case. The iPad is held in place by a strong magnet. It opens up just like a laptop & is easily removable if you just want the iPad on it’s own. It’s on the short list of my favorite things ever!!
