I was hesitant at first with getting the 13” vs the 11”. I can tell you now I do not regret it at all. The larger screen is fantastic for streaming and games. It’s even better for professional work or other productivity. It’s not quite as fast a Pro but is perfect for day to day use and needs. The extended storage (even on the base model) is a big step up from previous versions. I would definitely recommend if you’re in the market for a new iPad. (Best Buy also offers 2% back if you buy Apple products via Apple Card, nice perk to buy from here if that is an option for you!)

I'm so thrilled with my purchase. I've had a smaller ipad for years and had recently found the size to be limiting due my progressing visual impairment. The larger surface makes it so much easier to use and easier to handle--I often found myself fumbling with the smaller one and had already had to have the screen replacement due to damage. I notice very little difference in terms of speed/performance compared to the iPad pro.

Really nice screen. By math 40% larger area. Huge upgrade over my series 5 11 inch and the screen is better.

I returned to college after a long break to finish my degree. Using an iPad instead of multiple notebooks has been a game changer! The weight of it is equal to a notebook without a cover. There is no delay in writing and the 60hz refresh rate doesn’t bother me as the screen is bigger (I have an iPhone 16 pro max where refresh rate is higher). Watching videos or lectures run very smoothly while I write on the screen to take notes at the same time. It’s better to carry this around with a case than it was with a laptop. I’m also a mom, a caregiver, and working fulltime so having this iPad goes everywhere with me and having all I need without the bulkiness of a laptop. Using this iPad along with my phone, my calendar syncs with each other so I can always keep track of everything I need to do. This has not only helped me with college, it’s helping me in my personal and some work life as well. I highly recommend this! FYI, turn off background app refresh to help conserve battery life.

It really is incredible what apple gives you for you money. I bought this as a retirement gift for my wife and she loves it. So fast compared to her older iPad and she is enjoying the larger size. I would recommend to get a nice cover for it.

Had an old 11” 3rd gen iPad. This is definitely a step up in performance and the 13” is better for me. A bit heavy especially with Magic Keyboard.
