I’ve had the iPad Air M3 for a couple of weeks now, and I have to say—this thing is seriously impressive. I upgraded from an older iPad (2019 model), and the difference is like night and day. It never stutters, never heats up. I even tested a couple of games like Genshin Impact, and it runs buttery smooth. The 13-inch screen is a dream for content creation and streaming. It’s bright, colors are vivid, and it feels like the perfect size—not too bulky, not too small. I use it a lot for watching Netflix and reading in bed, and it’s become my go-to device over my laptop. One thing I love is how well it integrates with the Apple Pencil (I got the new Pencil Pro—totally worth it if you’re an artist or note-taker). It’s responsive, magnetic charging is convenient, and the hover feature makes it feel way more intuitive than before. Battery life is solid. I get around 9-10 hours depending on how I use it. It charges relatively fast too, and the USB-C port makes it easy to plug in wherever. Only downside? The accessories. I love the new Magic Keyboard with the function row, but $300+ for a keyboard is steep. Same with the Pencil—pricey, but Apple knows we’ll pay it. Overall, I’m really happy with my purchase. I am a freshman in college, i’m looking to major in business and most of my classes and work is online. Everything you need for school or everyday task can be done on an ipad. My assignments are so easy to do i can use apps to take notes and not have multiple note books. Everything i need for school is stored in it. The size is amazing especially with the apple pencil is so easy and fast to do things. The dynamic due with my mac book and ipad is so good. It has a lot of storage and for some assignments i need to take pictures of structures or projects and the camera quality is simply unmatched. everything is clear, the images are very detailed and high definition. If you are a college school or someone looking to make your life easier, i highly recommend the ipad.

I honestly didn’t expect the iPad M3 to meet—let alone exceed—my expectations, especially coming from a 1st-gen iPad Pro with ProMotion and a 120Hz refresh rate. Going with the larger screen was definitely the right choice for how I plan to use it. While I do miss Face ID compared to Touch ID, it’s not a dealbreaker. Like many have mentioned, this is a surprisingly capable device that handles nearly everything the Pro models can—with ease. I didn’t think it would feel like a real upgrade from my 2019 iPad Pro, but I was definitely proven wrong. I also picked up the Logitech Combo Touch keyboard and the Apple Pencil to really round out the experience—and so far, no regrets.
