I'm going to be honest in this review, as I try to be in all my reviews. I had high hopes for this new iPad "Pro". I have the 2018 12.9 iPad Pro. It still works excellently and responsively. I'm a photographer, and the OLED display is something I've been waiting for in the iPad models. This was a no brainer, hardware-wise to make the jump. It is superbly impressive in the hardware area. The dealbreaker for me is iPadOS. Apple calls this an iPad "Pro", yet, the iPadOS cripples the Pro user experience. I use Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. Neither are fully featured enough for professional use. The file system within iPadOS is a mess. There are other areas where iPadOS makes the experience flat out frustrating. Unfortunately, I'm unable to justify spending this amount of money on a "Pro" product, that I personally feel does not deliver a "Pro" experience. Apple is not serious about its iPad lineup. They still nerf the iPads to be mostly consumption devices - made to watch Netflix, surf the web lightly, and write emails. At this stage in the computing world, it is a better buy to purchase one of the less expensive iPads. You'll still get the same software experience, but won't have to feel like you overspent to get there. Mine went back to the store. I upgraded my 2014 MacBook Pro to a new M3 MBP 14 inch, 1 TB, 18GB RAM. The MBP cost less than the M4 iPad (after needing to add the new keyboard and Apple Pencil). The MBP does indeed act like a Pro device. I can use all the professional software I have purchased over the years. If Apple ever gets over their own ego trips and fixes iPadOS to be able to run true, professional software without sacrifices, I will come back to treating the iPad "Pro" with more interest. Until then, I'll put my money where the real values are.

Beautiful OLED screen with inky blacks and colors that pop, I’m not exaggerating when I say that rewatching a movie you have already seen feels like the first time but better! Grabbed the 1tb of storage and it comes with 16gb of ram, two words…”Future Proof.!”

Best Buy came through for me with their Price Match Guarantee and I got a really good price. It arrived in perfect condition in a timely manner and I really like the quality of the iPad Pro M4. Fastest tablet I ever had. Would definitely recommend.

There isn’t anything quite like this device so it’s hard to compare it if you’re just getting tablets to watch stuff this is the wrong category frankly you’re better off with a cheaper Samsung or a cheaper iPad depending on what your mobile device of preferences is. This is advice for tablet, enthusiast, and people who like to use their iPad pros for professional purposes that’s why you pay the extra for the added storage and ram and slightly updated CPU. The real competition for this device is the base M4 iPad Pro and that’s where the value really is. This upgrades model is a powerful device however you come away feeling like you don’t know why you paid the extra. Especially since that extra is so much money. I had deals to bring down the price and wanted to experience this for my self. So I knew what I was getting into sold two previous tablets and had a ton of rewards points and even I am wondering if by the time I realize the potential of this device it will have been cheaper to just put the money into the next tablet. If I was just reviewing the tablet on its own I’d give it 4 stars. The speakers aren’t as good as m1 iPad Pro but they’re close. I deducted star bc the value isn’t there for the ram and storage cost and the slight cpu bump.

It works great has incredible battery life and is a perfect tablet for drawing!

I love it. It's fast, the screen is bright and responsive, and the unit is thin and lightweight without feeling cheap. Well done, Apple.

This is the best iPad Pro that I owned so far. It is fast and battery appears to last twice as long as a regular iPad Pro. The only downside is that I had to purchase a new keypad because my sixth gen keypad did not work with it.

My iPad is amazing I am enjoying it. I didn’t have second thoughts about where to purchase it. Beat Buy is the best. I am a Best Buy member and I have automatic protection on my 13 Pro.

I’m still getting used to the new feeling of this machine but I think I like it. The Oled screen is a bit more flexible than the LCD ones and the pencil pro makes brushes behave differently. Overall though it’s been a lovely little machine. The battery isn’t as long lasting as I was hoping for with my upgrade to a new machine.

Gets the job done and easy to use. The processor is much faster.

Perfect solution! Our daughter is going to take this to college! Use it as a laptop, take notes in class, annotate online texts with the Apple Pencil and we added a cord adapter so she can have an additional monitor in her room (type papers on one & look at the iPad for notes!) Plus it’s big enough to watch Netflix on so she died t need a TV too!

The new screen looks excellent. Although this new iPad is super fast & more powerful than the iPad Pro (5th Generation) (which I upgraded from), it's difficult to tell unless I'm using a demanding application. It is noticeably thinner and lighter which I appreciate.

Best Ipad yet - lightweight, fast and easy to use! I upgraded a very old one and wish I had done this a while ago!

This iPad is great, I love the split screen feature, just like you would have on a regular laptop. The size is great for being comparable to a laptop and the benefit of it being touch screen is one I really enjoy. It is not too heavy to hold but if you’re opting to carry it around or hold it often I would certainly opt for the smaller size.

Bought the iPad M4 13” 1TB and it has exceeded our expectations coming from a 6th gen standard iPad. This thing is a beast!

It's awesome! I cannot say anything about durability yet because I have had it for less than two months. I just love the speed, display, the different ways the built-in keyboard can be configured, etc.

Love my new 13" Pro Ipad. I needed one with a huge amount of storage so I splurged a little. Works great, screen is an awesome size. I use it for reading ebooks, playing games, designing craft projects.

I like this iPad, just the right size! Needs more memory though. Wished I had realized it when I bought it.
