This is a great second IMac.

The last one I bought was in 2008 and it has lasted my almost ten years with no major issues. Decided it was time to update when the old one could no longer support all the updates to the operating system. Yeah, it's pricier than a Windows computer and not as portable as Chromebook or tablet but, as with most Apple products, it just works, I don't want to be dependent on cloud storage or internet access for things to work. Of course, your mileage may vary

Love my IMac

I am a big apple fan and have many tablets , I find myself trying to use this like a tablet , however the apple store for the apps are very different on the IMac than for the tables and phone. Had to find a work around to save apps like Netflix, google, YouTube. You will not get these basic apps from the Apple store on the IMac.
