This is the best desktop. It's fast and very easy to use with osx. Got the defective at first then call BestBuy. They sent new one with one day shipping!

I switched my mother- who has trouble working an ATM to an I Mac.. Best decision ever- It is much easier for her old and rotten brain to figure out. Multiple ways to close a page and open windows.. she doesn't download the viruses she used to and her photos are easily edited. As long as nothing to crazy changes in an upgrade.. she is usually fine. I am happy I made her switch.. It was over 1 year ago and everything looks great. She will never own a windows again. I think I may switch to mac as well. I just love it. Not missing Windows AT ALL..

Look we all heard of how good Apple iMacs are and until you buy one you really don't know how true it is. This Computer is supper fast so easy to use and understand, My son uses it for his recording studio, and to edit movies, it was one of those things they you keep on seen music videos and they always show the producer using an iMac, so we decided to buy one and see what all the fuss was about. And we were in for the greatest surprise of all. Yes we recommend this Computer to everyone.

So far love everything about this computer but the lack of a dvd rom. Took out of box and was super easy to set up (due to updates it took about 1 hour). Seems to be a very fast computer. Will post a follow up review in a couple of months.

Been an apple user for years except for the desktop until my pc went dead. Bought the iMac right away during the black friday sale with a $200 off. So happy and satisfied with the purchase. The pcmag and cnet reviews were true. This is the best desktop for home and office use.

My first Apple product replaced windows xp I tried windows 8 , hated it more for a tablet or phone then a PC. Love the iMac hard to get used to had it for 3 weeks but catching on very fast. LOVE the magic mouse!

Very nice computer with ok speed. I blame the hard drive for the bottleneck and wished Best Buy would have have fusion drive option.

I manage 38 of these between two labs, i a college art department. Not the model i recommended.. These machines are okay for web surfing, listening to music light photo editing and audio mixing and they didn't skimp on the displays. If your looking for a computer to use for editing camera raw files, video, games, auto cad digital painting or 3D modeling you may want to look somewhere else. The PCIe based storage is crazy fast but the CPU and integrated graphics just dot n't it. This model uses an i5-4570R CPU which is far better than the majority of PC's I've seen at best buy with pentium or AMD processors. Your still only going to see 2.7ghz max when running multithreaded applications. Apple's multi threaded optimization is superior to windows. In after effects i get 10-15fps when viewing none rendered 2-3 layer simple content. When you launch after effects you get a warning about lack of GPU support for the mercury rendering engine. When you launch auto cad in windows you get a warning about degraded performance due to the graphics card. The machines I have came with 16G of ram vs the 8G which is the only difference. 8G of ram not enough for the uses i listed above. 16G and up would be my recommendation. My machine at home runs 32G or ram with an Nvidia GTX 770 graphics card which supports after effects mercury engine. One thing you really need to consider is how valuable is your time. Time is one thing you can never get back do you really want to waste your life waiting on a computer?

Just the best desktop there is, Wish could have afforded the 27".
