great I love my computer it is the best computer i have ever owned

Long-time PC user who switched to iMac. Was upgrading my home computer and was going to have a learning curve from Windows XP to Windows 8. After discussing this issue with Best Buy salesman, I received a iMac demonstration and chose to purchase the iMac instead of a new PC. The iMac was easy to initially set up and is becoming easier to use as I advance on my learning curve. I have attended Best Buy training sessions and am becoming more comfortable with iMac as time goes by. I did not like the small keyboard that came with my iMac (it didn't have a number pad) and there was not a wireless Apple one available with a number pad, so I purchased a Logitech wireless keyboard. The iMac does not come equipped with a disc player, so one had to be purchased as an add-on. The USB ports are in the rear of the screen and hard to access for plugging in accessories such as external hard drives and other storage devices--I purchased an extra USB cord that allows multiple devices to be plugged into one cord. In summary, I think the iMac is a great machine, but the initial cost is higher than a PC and add-ons such as a disc player have to be purchased separately--adding to the expense of owning an iMac. Hopefully this machine will be dependable and last a long time--to justify the extra expense.

I had a difficult time deciding between the 21.5" screen and the 27" 5K. I went with the smaller screen and it more than capable of displaying multiple internet browsers and apple music simultaneously. The track pad is a must have. Apple enginuity at its best. Together with the iMac its internet bliss. Also multiple user accounts can be setup up so he whole family can enjoy the all in one desktop. The computer is light, sleek and instantly makes any room look cooler. My only knock is no flash memory results in slower startup of applications but everything runs seamlessly once open. It's worth additional dollars to get a fusion drive the has flash.

This is truly the best computor on the market. Apple products are so easy to work. Easy to set up, just turn it on and it will walk you through the rest. I highly recommend this for anybody young or old in the market for a computor.
