Got this for my parents. Had gotten them a windows, but the programming was horrible and eating up all their data!! So they gave in and decided to try a Mac. They like it ok, just takes getting used to and no one book has all the help you need to learn about it. If they can ever get used to it and get to know how to use it well, I think they will like it better!! I don't understand why they don't come with a CD player/writer anymore!!!

I love my iMac! Wish I changed over a long time ago. The best thing...I can be on my iMac and answer face time calls and texts. Everything is synced with my iPhone. AWESOME!!

My old Dell PC was on its last legs so I took a nephew's advice and moved up to an IMac. I read online reviews beforehand and was impressed. That I was able to get it on sale at Best Buy also made the decision easier. My expectations were high but, believe it or not, this IMac exceeded them. From the bright screen to the IMac's speed, this machine has been a pleasure to use. I am hooked on Apple products now. Bye bye Dell!

perfect standalone computer for home. Exactly what we were looking for. The new 27" iMac with Retina surely looks more clear even when you look very close to the screen, but I honestly doubt we'd ever do it in a normal life =)

I use this for the internet mostly small business hobby and spread sheets I use Pages and Numbers along with some other programs. I like the security and time machine that automatically backs up the complete computer and my files. Also use the cloud . No blot ware. Easy to set up and run very good video and sound not one problem . Many programs available .

It was a birthday gift for my wife and she is in love with it and now doesn't have time for me

I am adapting. The word processor is very hard to use. The internet searching I am now getting used to. The other applications I have not had time to learn much about. The little keyboard is really easy to use. The sales person should have told me I needed extra hardware to upload and burn Cd's. It seems odd that Apple has not figured out how to add this, perhaps under the keyboard. I know they like things to look sleek, though....

this is my first MAC. I love the features but was disappointed that there wasn't an disc drive. I went and purchased the USB superdrive from the Apple store. but overall I do like this product it just gets some used to using.

I love this computer. I usually only use my computer for everyday tasks like internet browsing, email, music, school work, etc. but it has plenty of power to handle a lot more. The computer itself is nice to look at it. The only thing I would recommend if you don't need such a large hard drive is to upgrade to the flash storage instead of a traditional hard drive, that will greatly increase performance speed and start up.

My IMAC is user friendly and has a nice large screen. It meets my needs and my expectations.

Definitely a great computer. Highly recommended. We bought this one up replace an older mac, and the speed with the new drive is great.
