    Replaced a 7 year old iMac, and am very happy with it. Very quiet and reliable operation, beautiful display and a very small footprint. Only minor complaint is that no integrated optical drive means that I need an external one from time to time (did not buy SuperDrive, using networked old iMac for now). Macs are relatively expensive, but they are still a good value. For those of us who still want a desktop (yes, there is still a market) this is a great choice.

    I was very pleased with my mac desktop purchase. It has a high quality processor which makes all my downloads fast and easy, lots of memory for music and pictures, and most of all - it's basically idiot proof. Easy transition from windows 8!

    I went in to purchase an HP, I decided while waiting on a store rep to look at the price of an Apple. It cost exactly the same as the HP I wanted. The rep helped me decide that it was the best fit for me. I would pick it any day over the HP!
