I debated this purchase for years while always wanting the Mac. Was deterred by spouse who is an expert with windows. He is impressed at the ease of set-up and how fast it is compared to my old PC. I love the fact that one click does everything and how quiet it is.

this is a typical apple product. way ahead of the competition in just about every aspect. when people see the clear sharp pictures they invariable say wow.

I had never used Mac computers before, but once I purchased this one I love it.

If you are looking for a desktop system, this fills the bill perfectly. It has plenty of memory (8MB) for most users. I typically run Mail, Safari, iTunes, and Reminders. No problems at all. If I were into video editing, and maybe games, I might spring for more memory. But decide on that before you buy, as I understand that a memory upgrade after you buy is very expensive. The system is beautiful to look at. Comes with a cordless keyboard and cordless mouse, so there is only the power cord out the back. Unlike my 2007 version, this system is silent... no fan. Very nice feature. Un-packing and set up were mindless. Screen is plenty big for me. I thought the larger screen would be too large for my desk area. Note that this system does not come with a DVD drive, so if you need that, you better add one. I connect with my Apple Airport Exterme router for very fast wireless. For me, this is the perfect system.

Love these macs. They do what they are built for. Can't wait for the new ones.

I purchased this computer for my wife for her school work, she is in graphics design. Photoshop, Indesign, and Illustrator opens quick and flawlessly. This is not because of the product but Apples software, I would not recommend upgrading to OS X Maverick if you use Apples full size usb keyboard. I could not get it to operate after the upgrade. However the wireless keyboard that comes with the computer works fine but it does not have the 10 key. I have tried searching the Internet and have tired many different procedures to try and get the usb keyboard to work but to no avail it just will not work.

I have always used apples as a kid but once the PC took over at school it did at home for me as well. I am now 31 and have tried hard to NOT convert to mac even though I own an iPad and iPhone, my biggest problem was always the price. After finally giving up on PC with all the Malware, viruses, pop ups and a hundred other issues they have over apples I was happy I did so. This thing is so fast, clean and really blew me away. I do a lot of picture and video editing and can tell you that it renders video 10x faster than a PC which had twice the power of the mac. So long story short I am never going back to PC and will tell everyone to go Mac. I would have rather had the 27" but the 21" is still amazing.

Imac is so easy to use. Open the box to a short set up and your ready to go.

I just cant say enough good things about this computer, I purchased it as a gift for my wife, Once out of the box, the slim design, light weight, and easy to set up. I can say I have been using it more than my windows machine, I will end up getting one for myself.

I love it. It took a minute to get used to it but I'm slowly getting used to it.

Easy to setup and use. My kids love it because it is what they use in school.

No more PC's for me! The iMac was so easy to set up! No help needed. Anazing!!

The overall quality is amazing, even-though i would rather having backlit keyboard. I am satisfied but IOS in a Mac is not very intuitive as in an Iphone or ipad at least not for people very used to windows.

I thought because I got an iPad Mini last Christmas that I was already used to the Apple way of doing things, but the OS X system on the Mac is different enough that I feel like I need a course in how to use it. And I don't know anyone with a Mac, so I'm on my own in figuring it out. I even went to the library to get a book out (and that was really helpful). But I think I will be extremely happy once I get used to it . Friends are waiting for my verdict! I definitely don't like the feel of the keyboard, but I'll adjust, I guess, or eventually I'll get a different one.

I finally switched to a Mac and am greatly please! very smooth to use and fast!

i didn't review information on this computer because this is my 2Nd Mac. Like the first one so much I bought the same one. My only complaint was we did not realize the new ones did not have a cd drive.
