I love everything apple. This desktop runs so smooth so glad I got it.

Smooth, elegant, crisp screen. second to none. Apple engineers great products and this is one of many they design. Worth every penny. Would be nice if apple made there own anti virus / Internet security built in. But overall excellent product.

We replaced our Dell with this Mac. It is fast, easy to use. The screen is bright. We had no problem learning to use it. This model was not the top of the line but does everything we need.

i haven't been able to use it very much but so far I am impressed.

We've had this computer about 1 month and so far so good. We are disappointed that we will have to buy the external dvd drive in order to take our video camera movies to grandparents house, but overall, a great computer for a good (apple) price.

This is perfect for me because i have limited space in computor room.

This design seems to have held up for a few years now. This is my first Mac ever so the learning curve makes it a bit of a hassle to operate. Other than that, this product is cool as Heck!

Long-time PC user who switched to iMac. Was upgrading my home computer and was going to have a learning curve from Windows XP to Windows 8. After discussing this issue with Best Buy salesman, I received a iMac demonstration and chose to purchase the iMac instead of a new PC. The iMac was easy to initially set up and is becoming easier to use as I advance on my learning curve. I have attended Best Buy training sessions and am becoming more comfortable with iMac as time goes by. I did not like the small keyboard that came with my iMac (it didn't have a number pad) and there was not a wireless Apple one available with a number pad, so I purchased a Logitech wireless keyboard. The iMac does not come equipped with a disc player, so one had to be purchased as an add-on. The USB ports are in the rear of the screen and hard to access for plugging in accessories such as external hard drives and other storage devices--I purchased an extra USB cord that allows multiple devices to be plugged into one cord. In summary, I think the iMac is a great machine, but the initial cost is higher than a PC and add-ons such as a disc player have to be purchased separately--adding to the expense of owning an iMac. Hopefully this machine will be dependable and last a long time--to justify the extra expense.
