I would not and will not ever purchase another computer that is not a Mac product. They are simply the best. This computer is no different. The screen size is very great for editing videos and recording music. Great all around

Great upgrade from my custom made PC. I have been making the switch from PC/Microsoft world to Mac and loving it, wallet not to much. Love how much space I have gain over a traditional p.c and this huge screen ver. my old 17inch

Left mac years ago after issues with the original i mac, been following from afar for several years and am glad to be rid of my pc. The new i mac is wonderful, everything you'll ever need if you work in the Adobe Creative space.

It took me along time to switch from windows to Apple, but it is one of the best things that I have done. Large monitor, clear, bright images. I did not like the pages (apples version of office), but they have a windows version for Apple, which I purchased, and its great. Very easy to navigate otherwise.

My iMac has been easy to use, great for editing, gaming, and home office. The expansive display has been awesome and brought me up to date. Setup was easy, so I got straight to work. I may need to buy a bigger keyboard.

This is the 3rd Mac I have purchased and initially wasn't sure it would be worth spending the extra money over a PC, but now there would be no other option. They just work and work all the time. Very few hiccups if any.

I have always been a stronger supporter of Apple products and all this desktop does is strengthen my support. i edit pictures and video on the side and the iMac has the perfect amount of Ram and hard drive space i need

I love this computer! I really wanted something I could multitask on and with the screen so big it makes it easy to have 3 or even 4 windows open at once. It can even serve as a small TV if you're a Netflix fan like me!

I'm a huge fan now a days of all the Mac products they have come a long way over the years, takes getting used to there format compared to the windows format but once you do you have no desire to go back or touch another windows product, the security compared to windows is currently night and day and to see no pop ups or worry of virus's is priceless, love the desktop and wouldn't trade it back to a windows based product if the windows product was free , totally enjoy the stress free experience every time I use it!

I have no complaints so far. Still getting used to the huge display, but everything is crystal clear even without the Retina display. Setup was simple and you are walked through the entire process, but it did require two upgrades to get everything current. I haven't purchased an Apple computer in a few years, so I didn't know that Apple had eliminated optical drives, but I'm able to work around this since I only use my optical drive occasionally.

It was time for an upgrade and this computer really fir the bill. We didn't need the Retina display, but the HD picture and a 27" screen on the iMac make for some incredible computing. Nice machine and price was right.

We were needing a new desktop and decided to go with this 27" iMac. We didn't feel the need to get the 5k version as the picture quality was amazing on this product. So far it has done everything we wanted it to.

This is my first Apple computer and I LOVE it! I'm still learning the differences between the software on this compared to my old pc but it's been pretty smooth. Multitasking made easy with the size of the screen!!

I use this Mac to run my audio recording apps for my music studio. I also have to use the Mac for work apps but these apps are in The PC world thanks to boot camp. I use it to run autocadd and It has held up well.

Still figuring out some of the features which are not exactly the same as the iPad or iPhone. Otherwise great picture and very large screen. Almost too big as I have to angle my head up to see out my progressives.

My first Mac. I am still messing around with it. I not very familiar with Mac so I still haven't completely switched over from my Windows lap top. This thing is huge. It does not take up a lot of space though.

The best part is that you can upgrade the ram. You cannot upgrade the RAM in the 21 inch IMAC. I added 16GB to the base 8GB for a total of 24GB. Now it never slows down. Great machine! And the display is amazing!

My family would tell you that they have wanted an Apple computer FOREVER. To be fair I should have one of them completing the review and they would give it a great one. But I made the purchase so bear in mind that the review comes from the perspective of the family tech dinosaur. My husband works in Database Admin and my daughter is a middle school student. They need an excellent home computer that is able to connect with work and school daily. Neither has had any difficulty. Losing the tower, great picture and a world of options to explore...all good! The only drawback thus-far is the keyboard. I have RA and have used to an ergonomic keyboard both at home & at work for years. A keyboard the size of a laptop's is very uncomfortable to use. The spouse and daughter have no complaints so I would not discourage anyone nor decrease my score based on that. The $$ was a deterrent but the Best Buy payment plan made that problem go away. Anyone want to purchase a year old, excellent condition Dell?

I have used windows for over 15 years and there's always one problem to deal with, no wait, two! blue screen and viruses. Well, I'm into professional photography now I did have a windows computer that died on me after only 2 years and I spent $1,000..that's it I was done with it, I coughed up $1,700 to get this iMac, it works like a machine! It's fast, does not interrupt your work I run light room 5 and photo shop CC for professional video editing or photography I recommend this over any PC!

I absolutely love my new IMac. As soon as I bought the Word and Excel tool for the IMac I was ready to go and it was absolutely amazing so far. Its been about 2 months, and now I am ready to buy a Macbook :)
