I had been using a 2012 model iMac in my office and recently upgraded to the 2017 model . I quickly noticed the 5K screen resolution versus 2K in the older one. Colors are more saturated in photos , video and movies with more detail. The other thing you will notice very quickly is the lightning quick processor. WIFI connectivity was great too. It was incredibly easy to port all my data from the old IMAC to the new one. Less than one hour of downloading and I was good to go. The new iMac came with a High Sierra 10.13.6 OSx ( not sure why not Mojave) . Very happy with the upgrade thus far while my old IMAC is still in use as a work station.

I am not new to Apple product or purchasing items with high quality visuals. The 5k display is very nice the computer works great have not had problems. The screen size is comfortable if you like to have two documents open at the same time (great from college students!) very pleased with my purchase.

Wish I made the switch from pc long ago, but glad I finally did it. This computer is absolutely beautiful - the screen is amazing and so much better than its competition. There have been a few things I needed to figure out how to do, but it's been a rather smooth transition. Super happy!

I strongly recommend the 27" over the 21" Mac. The key difference is they both come with 8 Gb of RAM, but you can upgrade the 27" with up to 64GB. There are 4 banks. For $150 I was able to upgrade to 40 GB of RAM. 8 GB is fine with one account doing simple tasks, but if you are editing video, images, music AND have 2 or more users, 8 GB gets used up fast. It's also important to note that the hard drive is a Fusion drive that has only a 24 GB SSD. The 40 GB of RAM comes in handy. The display and sound quality of the IMAC is top notch! Go to the store and check it out.

We originally purchased for an at home work station and space for photo editing. The computer performs well for both task! The 5k resolution Is gorgeous and the the screen itself is an accent piece in any home office. Would recommend for performance and durability!!! Great purchase.

This iMac is pretty amazing with it's 5k display and the performance you get with the fusion drive. I am vary happy with this purchase. It allows me to do video editing and as well as photoshop without any issues. Also, if I want to upgrade the ram I can up to 64GB, which is crazy.

It is the same stable, quiet fast enough for most everyone with a beautiful screen iMac. I had a 2016 model still in the return time period so I swapped it for the updated model. My MacBook Pro had the C type connectors so I am glad to have them the same. As for the updates in the new model yes it is a little faster and in some specific cases a lot faster. The main benefits are the better screen and built in H.265 processing in the processor. Everything is moving to H.265 (HEVC) and having hardware decoding will be more of a benefit in the future. I dock it one star because if you really load it down with say video encoding it does not have adequate cooling and will end up throttling the CPU during a long encode. I bet this issue is fixed with the new Pro model but that is a huge jump in price to the pro model and I consider it a design flaw that needs to be fixed not an upgrade path.

This is a great computer and I got it while I was on sell. Very happy I want with the 27 inch and not the 21.5 inch. If you’re going to buy desktop b very happy I want with the 27 at church and not the 21.5 lunch. If you’re going to buy desktop by the 27in You won’t regret it.

Bought this Mac in the Black Friday sale! Definitely cannot beat the price anywhere else that Best Buy was offering for the amount of Mac that you get! Great Mac for beginners who are just starting their editing, content creating journey. The 27” 5k screen is incredible.

I have always wanted a Mac or MacBook and finally I said yes to myself and bought my Mac and it’s the best thing in the world. It’s powerful, fast, does everything I need it for without a problem. Easy to work and go from phone to Mac without an issue. I had a lot of concerns about it, but if your looking for a great computer that will last for personal, school, or work/business use! I definitely recommend! I don’t game online, so couldn’t really say about that, but always heard the best gaming computers are the ones you build yourself anyways.

We got tired of all the Windows updates that didn’t work. After talking to Best Buy staff and others, we switched to an iMac. Now we wonder why we didn’t do it years ago! Very easy to use. Everything works great, including updates. Very happy with our purchase!

I purchased this iMac for my wife who is starting her own blog/makeup tutorials and she LOVES it. It's very fast and has a large Video RAM capacity, allowing her to create/edit videos without the constant hassle of waiting for footage to render. One of my favorite parts is that there's extra capacity for adding more RAM down the line if she determines she needs more. DEFINITELY worth the money!

Fast processor, excellent graphics, love the all in one and the extra space. Has built in speakers and camera. Large screen is amazing....Excellent product!

This replaced my 2013 21.5 iMac and i could not be happier. The computer handles anything and everything you throw at it and the graphics? out of this world! The only thing i regret is not splurging on an SSD to take advantage of Apple's new AFPS filing sytem.

Came back to Apple after years away with android and happy I did. No platform is perfect everyone has its plus and minuses so I don't get into bashing any one of them. The individual has to decide for themselves the things that are most important and go from there. Having said that the apple eco system is far and away the best one for me. How the devices communicate with one another is remarkable. This IMAC is fast clean easy to use and the updates are instant across the board on all devices. If you have the extra cash and want to treat yourself you have my permission:-).

My much older imac was great but this new huge display is something to love. I need to get used to a few things but I love all apple products so I have nothing bad to say just yet. Easy to set up and easy to install software on. Great sound and display.

I would have purchase this iMac earlier, Best decision. Retina display 27' screen much better and very user friendly. Way faster than its competitor.

I have been in the Apple ecosystem for several years but have not purchased a desktop since my original Mac. Wow, what have I been missing with my Macbook laptops. The twenty-seven inch screen is a delight. Clear, crisp, beautiful images and a spectacular array of colors. Great speed and flexibility if you no longer need to carry your primary personal computer along for work. Good choices of ports. I love this computer!

I was using a PC and it was slow , clunky and would freeze a lot for my needs. Finally made the choice and upgraded to the iMac. Best thing I could have done. No more worries, can keep 3-4 programs open and have no problem with freezies or slowness.

I bought this mac for my wife to work on pictures and videos but I also wanted a mac for gaming. After reading reviews I found out this was one of the best options. It takes a bit getting used to and changing a few options but it runs CSGO very well
