My laptop (with OS Win 7 ultimate) recently became unusable. I've upgraded and repaired it many many times, and suppose I could do so again. It's possibly the lcd inverter. I loved Win 7 Ult. I have a small tablet with Win 8 - now Win 10. I hate everything about Windows 10, and I'm totally over Windows. I recently repaired Macs for two friends, even though I knew little about them, but greatly enjoyed working on them and using them. I decided to buy a Mac for myself, and after a bit of research, chose the 27" iMac with the 5K display, 8 Gbs ram and a 1 TB drive. I plan on replacing the 1 Tb drive with a 2 TB SSD that I have. I love everything about the Mac, though it'll take a little to get accustomed to the change. The 5k display is incredible and vibrant. I would highly recommend this computer.

We are an Apple user household and needed to replace older Mac. We decided on the 27" and it's perfect for what husband uses it for. The bigger screen is great and machine works much better/faster than older one which was expected with new one!

This is the way to go if you want the top of the line iMac while still saving money. You can easily ad ann SSD using a thunderbolt case. Also. easy enough to add 64GB of ram memory from OWC. All in all a really nice computer with the best display.

I have had Mac's forever. This is by far, the best one! I love the massive screen, great speakers, amazing speeds, and just an overall wonderful computer to use every day. I work from home and this makes it that much easier and enjoyable!

I've been a Mac guy since 2007 and this was the a purchase I needed to make to replace my 2007 24" iMac. I went for the lessor model (i5 vs i7, Non-fusion drive vs fusion drive, etc...) and it's still way more powerful than I thought it would ever be. I also run parallels with Windows 7 and love it!

After working in a windows format since the 1900s, I am learning the nuances of the Mac system. The Apple - 27 iMac is powerful, user friendly and it's capabilities are extensive. I expect to be somewhat proficient in a few months, which should be attainable as spending time in front of a screen with such beautiful resolution is most encouraging.

Very versatile desktop, I needed something reliable and found it in this iMAC. Screen size is great and speed of device is great. No issues so far and setup was a breeze. I love the built in parental controls and ease of use.

Fast downloads and clear pictures. Takes awhile to get used to the OS.

Easily finds networks and accessories. Loading MS Office was easy too.

My husband purchased iMac a few years ago and it was impressive then.

Husband wanted to seriously upgrade from the lil Google carom ok to big iMac. Shocked he has really liked it. I already had MacBook so knew system and he did not. But he has been able to learn with ease. Pic or graphs are great.

I use a Mac at work and had a PC at home. When it was time to get a new computer it was a no brainer! The iMac is incredible. The speed and ease of use is amazing. My wife, a new Mac user has found it to be very easy to navigate.
