Lovely new iMac!

Since this is my first new machine in 7-8 years, it's been quite an experience with changes to the OS and applications - but it's going well.

iMac 27 inch

The keyboard is nice and slim as well as the mouse. Downfall to the mouse is that there is no warning for when it dies, you'll know cause it won't work.

iMac rocks

The quick responsiveness and graphics are amazing. I would recommend increasing the ram from 8 to 16. I did and it made a world of difference.

Move away from the pc and no one gets hurt

I bought a 2008 iMac and it still runs just as smoothly as the day I got it. Well, ok, the optical drive failed but hey, this ain't 2008 anymore. Who uses cd's?? I bequeathed it to my upcoming college entrant and all is fine. So...this iMac is super. 27" of gorgeous screen. Super slim, super fast. Super. I actually had occasion to use the recovery mode because I messed up while transferring old iMac info to the new one. I did it during a lightning storm. Bzzzzt. I thought it was curtains, but no. I followed tech advice on an apple page and it fixed itself with minimal fuss. Gone are the days of staring at a BSOD on a PC. Make the leap to iMac. You'll be glad you did.
