If you're not already a mac fan... it takes a lot of getting used to. I'd like to go back to my PC but I'm too lazy to pack it all back up and switch it up again.

After 1.5 years, pinwheel of death on basic operations (opening word docs, emails, pics, surfing the internet). I did a clean re-install of the OS but haven't noticed a significant interest. I suggest getting the SSD hard drive when purchasing. I will be setting up an external SSD to see if I can improve performance. Shouldn't have to be dealing with this after on 1 year - I got a PC at the same time (i-7 4th gen, 16 g ram) and it is still blazing fast.

Outstanding Performance

Super silent and fast. Great Apps and the basic configuration is great to begin with. Keyboard and magic mouse 2 are rechargeable and works great. If you are thinking to buy this is the time.

Overpriced and slow

Bad one

BestBuy stood by it and replaced it with one that works perfectly. Screen is beautiful! I do not like the way the screen sits on my desk (due to neck problems) I wish I could lower it.

If it comes with basic software than it would have made a great buy! I cannot open some of the PDF or flash files with my 2K computer but able to open on my 8 years old PC.

IMAC

Trouble is Apple did away with 1/8 inch stereo out. Instead it's stereo in/out which required an adapter to mate my musical keyboard. Never got it to work. Store no help. AppleCare no help. Took it back.
