I bought this computer with my daughter for her Christmas present. It was exactly what she wanted and what we were expecting from Apple.

Still getting used to it as I was a PC user, but loving the computer as a whole.

Bought this computer for work for use by myself and our graphic designer. The resolution is amazing and colors are super true. Almost too good, as it shows subtleties that sometimes don't get picked up by end user's screens. Replaced the mouse with a better one, but the keyboard is pretty nice. Although sometimes hard to type since I'm used to other keyboards, but the backspace key earns its share on the keyboard.

The screen resolution and speaker is amazing. Nice design with no additional computer "tower," wireless mouse and keyboard. No issues with speed and working on the computer itself.

I use Macs for software and graphics work, and this Retina screen is amazing. I previously used a "regular" 27" iMac and thought it had a nice display but this one is REALLY nice.

The iMac is such a great computer for any aspect that you choose to apply it to. I have friends who use it for gaming and photoshopping. I use mine to surf the internet and conduct business, I'll never come close to using my iMac to its full potential but looks and ease of use are a huge winner for me. Yes it costs more, but so does Porsche and I don't know anyone who has the money and would say they hate Porsche.

The 5k display is fantastic! I added a trackpad to it for more features and it works seamlessly. My existing printer synced up in a matter of seconds. Impressive as always Apple.

My old iMac was in need of an upgrade. Going from a 24" screen to a 21" was not desirable, so I went with the 27" model. After reading reviews about the fusion drive, I decided that was the way to go. It works great, but there was a problem with the sleep mode, as the computer would not restart from the sleep mode unless the computer was unplugged and plugged back in. Spent a lot of time on the phone with AppleCare and doing a lot of different gyrations......plugging it into different outlets, bypassing the surge protector and other things. Finally figured out that the hub that I plugged into the computer was causing the problem. I disconnected a few items from the hub and connected them directly into the iMac and all was good. Other than that, everything is working fine. Satisfied with this computer.

I have gone to expect nothing but the best from Apple and this did not disappoint. The kids love it for homework and I surf the net in my leisure. No issues.

1 year in and I’m still loving my iMac. I still use my PC, but it gets used less and less every day due to the speed and reliability of the Apple ecosystem. This was my first foray into Mac territory and I won’t be going back to a PC for my main computer anytime soon. Less crashes, flawless updates, and less compatibility issues make Mac a more pleasant system to use!

This machine replaced and older iMac i purchased several years ago. Old iMac was getting too slow. Huge difference in speed with new iMac and the display is awesome.
