Seeing how this was going to be the computer that I spent most of my computing time on as well as host most of my files (docs, music, photos) I wanted something that had the best screen, easy to use, and had some power. Though I may be able to find a few computers under $1800 with a bit more power, I don't think there is a display that can come close to the 5K 27" screen (absolutely gorgeous) or a more user friendly operating system. Being in the PC world for most of my life, I love this Mac. Hope this helps.

I am a Realtor and for me the speed of this is more than adequit. The display on this machine is amazing!! Unless you're doing video editing I think this machine will impress and even then, it may be more than sufficient. All I know is that it's an all around amazing computer for my needs!

Between home use and work use I have an equal balance of Mac/Windows use. My home use I have always put my likes to a Mac/Mac-book. Outside of the always sharp and attractive designs, I have always enjoyed the solid and dependable hardware that Apple offers. With other people in my house that use this system, I have less maintenance and headaches to deal with. Nice sharp Retina 5K with the Fusion drive. Lots of space for music and some movies I highly recommend to expand the memory (which is impressively non-expensive) for more smooth and fluid operation. This device takes care of all my web, streaming and photography needs.

So far I absolutely love my new computer! I bought it to edit pictures and so far have only been using iPhotos and it has done a wonderful job. My kids watch videos and listen to music on it and the built in speakers have great sound!

I'm a graphic designer and I absolutely love my iMac. I purchased this specific iMac because of the Fusion Drive. As a designer this is a super useful feature.

First time with apple computer. Amazingly fast and the screen is awesome. Addded more RAM and to help with some large drawings, works even better. I highly recommend this computer. Doesn't get any better!

What can I say? I lusted after this iMac for at least two years before I finally took the leap and purchased it. Well worth the investment. I replaced my old 21" iMac. I was a little apprehensive about getting the larger screen. But, I am loving the extra screen real estate! Don't wait. Buy it now.

I absolutely love my new computer. Easy to set up. Nice big screen. Best of all it is super fast. I plan to have this computer for years. i like the fact that I can upgrade it myself when needed.

After my MacBook Pro of 6 years was on it's last legs, I made the decision to move on to my next computer. I decided to go with a desktop instead of another laptop so it would be easier to share with my girlfriend in our house. The 5k resolution makes it hard to go back to any lower resolution screens. It's great, despite the fact 4K and 5k video are still not over abundant, but I feel having a 5k monitor now is good future-proofing. It's performance is great. I really have no complaints. It runs design programs like Illustrator and Photoshop just fine. Would highly recommend if you need a computer somewhere between casual use and hardcore use. It hits a sweet spot.

Our 27 inch iMac is a great computer. This is our second iMac and will not be our last. It's fast and the graphics are wonderful. Very user friendly-everyone should own this computer.

Apple makes outstanding products. The iMac is in a class all its own. The picture, performance, speed, features, are simply the best. "If you go MAC, you won't go back." (To a PC that is.)

Computer exceeds all expectations! Have never had such a easy setup process with any computer, essentially ready to use as soon as it came out of the box. Beautiful large screen has amazing picture quality. Excited about all the projects that will be accomplished in the years to come.

The display grabbed my attention with it's crisp images and true to life color. This makes it a pleasure to be a new iMac user. The operating system is easy to learn. I now enjoy the time I spend on the computer instead of tolerating it.
