This is the only iPhone cable cord that is durable and lasts longer than any other cord/brand! Apple all the way!

If you are thinking whether you should buy a substitute for your original cable, and choosing between the cheap one that you can buy, which looks the same from no brand name. I would say every product worth it's price. Many computers can tell how good your cable is, and you might find trouble on connecting/charging these no brand with your computer/outlet. Trust me, you might as well save that time and money. Choose one of the best, easiest, and trustworthy solution.

These cables work and last. My family keeps buying off brand cables and they fail routinely. OEM cables last.

Well the upgrade to iPhone 5S and the new iPad means all the old 30 pin connectors from Apple are GONE. The new, reversible Lightning connector is just plain better but you need to buy a few of them. Luckily the ones from Apple work pretty flawlessly and fit even around cases - which some aftermarket ones do not. Despite the extra $ 50 to 60 for multiple sites and convenience I am glad to have the devices with the new connectors. Much easier to use and holds better

Strongly recommend staying with the apple brand....have had many cheaper cords fail early... Apple works.

I have a Lifeproof case. The only cable that will fit in this case is the real Apple cable. Very pleased.

Always buy Apple chargers if you can. The last charger i bought from another brand stopped working a few weeks after purchase. So far, there have been no complaints with this purchase.

This was a replacement cord for a non-Apple cord. Always buy Apple products. They are worth the extra money.

It always works and is durable. It's annoying to have to buy them (I must have a dozen 30 pin cables) and to have to pay so much, but as the wirecutter site notes, it's the best you can buy.
