The original Apple lightning cable lasts much longer than other brands

the apple cord is more expense than the generic brands but I find they last longer.

The right replacement part at a good price. It fits most ipod and ipad charging systems.

5$ cheapies don’t work or last that long. Apple works best with Apple.

Excellent charging cord for my Iphone. In my experience I've found that going with the official apple cord is always your best bet if you are looking for a cord that will work for a good while. I've bought other off brand $7.99 cords and they seem to last for about a month before my phone will no longer accept charge from them but this brand outlives them by several months if not years.

It's okay, but I asked someone else to pick up this cord for me, so of course it's the wrong one :) I asked for the exact same cord as I had previously, which was the 4' Insignia cord. I wanted the Insignia cord (which is a Best Buy product, but I am NOT a shill) because it has more flexibility near the base of the cord and doesn't split as easily at that location (different rubber, I guess). The standard iPad cord is not only shorter, but will probably rupture near the cord base as two previous ones have. The Insignia cord is more durable, try that. Good luck!

Other brands fall apart. These do not! I always buy Apple products!

I bought different cheapest cables before and worked for a while, but then they stop working, so this is kind of expensive but it is something durable.

Works perfectly for charging an iPad and iPhone as expected at a decent price.

I had previously purchased an off-brand lightning cable and due to Apple policy my iPad quickly started complaining about it and ultimately would not function or charge using it. So I went to good 'ol BB and bought the genuine article and it works great as advertised and price wasn't much more than the off-brand. Moral of story, buy from BB and buy the genuine article. Both are solid suggestions!

Great cables that work forever. you pay more but they last years.

Of course the benefit of this charger is the length. It's longer than the normal Apple lightening cable that comes with the phone. No problems so far.

Premium quality Lightning cable. With all the generic cables out there, it’s easy to fall into the trap of buying on price alone. There’s a reason why Apple products are more expensive, quality, dependability, and form. Generic cables always cease functioning well before their Apple counterparts. Do yourself a favor and buy Apple-manufactured products.

I have been using the cheap cords to charge my iPhone and iPad and having trouble with slow charging and messages saying they are not compatible. OK so some work. But I decided to get a spare Apple cord to save the hassle. Verdict - Both charge faster and stay charged longer now. I'll never go back to the "FAKE" cords or chargers. Thank you Best Buy for setting me straight again.
