The price was good, and it's an apple certified cable.

Like any piece of electronic equip,went, even the cables need some TLC to continue functioning properly. Change your charger cable if you notice that the areas are becoming worn due to frequent handling. Hold on the 'plug' area to unplug your device, don't pull on the cable & you will find you cable's life will ve extended.

I like Apple chargers for our iPhones. I have purchased others but sometimes they say that my device does not recognize it. I have also heard that after market chargers can cause problems with your iPhone. I am no expert but I do know that it is worth it to me to spend the extra money to know that I am safely charging my iPhone.

I will only buy Apple chargers for none other, my Apple iPhone ! But best buy is the place to grab them ! They were on sale for $18 which is awesome ! They always work great & only bend cuz I kinda throw them in my purse but they would last longer if I didn't mistreat my chargers lol either way, they're a great product !

I've tried the imitations, and something always happens with them -- so it was back to the full price, but really unbeatable product from Apple itself. They hold up much better than the rest of the after-market brands, and fit much more securely into the devices. It may be a little pricier, but it's worth it in the end.

I needed a new cord for my iphone, had no idea about the different quality cords at all different prices in the store. One person told me the cheaper ones don't last as long and soon just don't have a connection. So I bought this name brand , a lil more expensive product. and it has not failed yet. Just what I needed.

I've tried to use generic cables to charge my iPhone before and I always have the same problems: sometimes the cable isn't recognised by the iPhone, sometimes the cable doesn't work properly or sometimes the cable simply stops to work... The original cable costs a little more, but it worth it!

Even though I can use the same cord to charge my phone in the car or from a wall by swapping out plugs I like to have a separate charger at home, in my car and in my briefcase. The cord in my car stopped working although the plug worked fine. So i went to Best Buy with the old cord, told the fella there what i needed. He showed me two versions one with a longer cord and one shorter which I purchased since more cord would just be a nuisance inside the car (plus the short cord was less expensive). It works perfectly, charging then phone quickly. Great service, a product that exactly fit my needs and was a great value. One can't ask for more.

They were on sale so I bought two pairs. Little over priced even on sale. but they are durable.

Since it's an Apple product, there's not much to say. This cord is really your only option if you want a charger.

Third one over the years, but gets a lot of use. I would rather go with Apple replacement parts.

I have bought many of the cheaper versions of the lightning cable, including from mall vendors, and they always fail right away. The ones that don't ever fail are the ones from Apple. The cord eventually twists and no longer registers as a proper cable, but it is usually months if not years later. The generic ones last no more than a few months and can't handle high temperatures like inside a car. It may cost more but this is truly a case of "you get what you pay for."

The unfortunate thing about Apple's cables is that they're so pricey. I could buy a similar length HDMI cable for less than this costs. Another thing is that they're rather flimsy and fall apart easily. This isn't good for me because I use it so much that the wrapping at the ends split and wear out. Some of the third party cables are much more durable, and slightly cheaper too.

I needed a charger for in the car and was concerned with the high Apple cost. A staff person took me to these cords and stated they are approved and part of Apple so will work well! The price is lower which is great and yes, they work very well!! Hooray I will never feel stuck without necessary cords due to prices!!

Can never have enough cords in our house for the Apple gear. Have needed a couple extras for a while, but they always seem expensive for what they are. Team member pointed out that there was a price drop and I bought a few. Always happy with the service we are provided at our local stores.

If you're an Apple person/family, you never have too many charging cables. We already had one in our family room and one in our home office, but these were for one in each car. Knock-offs are cheaper, but real Apple doesn't break or wear out. They're only replaced because we lose them.

After purchasing several cords that were "suppposedly compatible with the i-phones, I found out they were NOT. I would say stick with the Apple products when purchasing their products because all the others are imposters as I found out by buying 2 others that really weren't compatible.

It's a good price however it's just not as fast as the original charger that came with my ipad. It is durable.
