I have gotten a few iPhone 5s Cable from different countries of the world when traveling and they all seem to stop working after 1 or 2 uses. The Apple - 3.3' Lightning-to-USB 2.0 Cable - White I got from Best Buy is a great replacement for the one i got when I originally bought my phone. Works perfectly well.

Wish they were less pricey since I need them and they break a lot. Only size that fits with a lifeprood case.

I have purchased many different chargers for our Apple products but only the Apple chargers hold up. Non-Apple chargers work for a short time then need to be replaced which ends up costing more money. Pay a little more upfront for this charger but it will out last the others and save money in the long run.

I have SO many of these cables in different lengths for different rooms. I have one in my car, my purse, my tote bag, etc. They are awesome! If you use Apple or Apple iMac devices, they are a MUST. Many other USB cables are not compatible with Apple products. These are and I use them everyday everywhere.

This is the real deal from Apple so you know it's going to surely work. Other cheaper non-Apple chargers often end up not supporting the device so they are unreliable. This can be used in the car, in a computer or plugged into a wall jack and charges any lightning based device. Long cord allows flexibility on location which is great. Treat them nicely and they will last. I've seen others fray if they are not taken good care of (hence only 4 stars).

I know there are many cables out there different brands and all that but for me I always prefer to buy the same brand, the original to its device. It's a great cable, I never have any problems with it. Yes it wears out with time but usually physically it last 2 years but even if it's torn it still always work.

It's an Apple product so you know it's going to work with your phone right out of the box, with minimal chance that it's going to go belly-up after a few weeks of use like some of the non-Apple lightning cables are likely to do. I only gave it 4 stars because I still think the cable are overpriced at $20.

I was concerned to purchase a non-apple product. I read the reviews on other off-brand power cables and was concerned to find that many of them did not meet the specification to power and support my phone. Most of these were only a couple dollars less than a real apple product. Definitely money well spent

2nd cord to buy. After my original broke I tried the off brands but they did not hold up to daily use.

Expensive cable which collects dirt and discolors after few weeks. Manufacturers made sure that it breaks near the neck of the cable tip so you spend another $24 for something which won't last more than a year. Here's a tip use ball park pen spring to wrap around the end to keep it from breaking.

Typical Apple product: works just fine, but is more expensive than similar products from other makers.

The Apple product is always more than I want to pay for, but it works and holds up better than most.

I always use apple products to charge my Apple phones and iPads. Once I was on a vacation and forgot my charger so I purchased a charger that was comparable, but it worked a few times and then failed to charge. I'm very pleased with my Apple charger, it never fails me.

Well, I lost the charge cable that came with my ipad and was lucky enough to pick up this cable on sale. It's an original Apple product so it's hard to go wrong choosing this cable over the other options out there that may or may not be equal build quality to this one.

You can purchase these cables from a multitude of vendors for a lot less money, and many will even claim they are "Genuine Apple", however if you want a cable that will consistently work will all of your Apple devices spend the money for an Apple cable that will not result in frustration.

I swear I have plenty of these, but can never find them when I need to charge my phone. I got an (another) extra which stays plugged into the kitchen outlet so I don't lose it. It works just like the one that came with my phone and seems to hold up better too. No complaints with this one!

I have purchased a few different brands of lightening plugs for my Apple proeducts. Most are a few dollars cheaper, some are better than others, Belkin for example seemd better than BB's generic brand, but none are the "real thing" like brand name Apple product. Cost more but last longer.

I was having problems with a non apple power cord charging my iPhone in the car, so I decided to spend the extra money and get this one. Totally worth the extra expense because my phone is now charging even faster then it did when my generic cord was new. Never switching cords again.

After much research on lightning cables, I purchased the Apple cable. The cable was easy to find in the "Apple Accessary" section of Best Buy. I did not find the section immediately but a B.B. associate quickly directed me to the area. The cable works flawlessly and has been used many times.
