Once my teenager destroyed her original Apple cable, I start buying her other brands because it seemed like I was buying a new one every other month. Finally I purchased the Apple version (which I should have did a long time ago) and she has had it since January.

The procduct works like new, well that's because it is. I had the option to buy an off brand charging cord but I didn't want to risk it. My old one went through a lot of wear and tear but I will take better care of this one. My only complaint is the length of the cord, besides that...perfect!

After buying some third party cables I went back to true Apple cables. The only part of apple cables that need attention is right at the lightning connector, after about a year the casing on the cable starts to wear due to usage and needs to be reinforced with a little electrical tape.

Don't like paying a lot for charging cords. In this case the extra is worth it. The cheap ones don't last, the cord is thinner, and the just don't charge the same as the Apple product. Buying the cheaper cords - you end up paying more in the end - multiple cords.

This is exactly what you would expect. Its not a cheap no name brand cable, it is the genuine cable which no one has, in my opinion, ever been able to duplicate. This will hold up better than any after-market cable you will buy. Sure it costs a little bit more, but it is worth the price.

I bought a cheap cable to keep it in my car, but it didn't work that well... Now I learned my lesson, buy the original, you can't go wrong with it. Before I forget, Best Buy is awesome! I'm an old fashioned shopper, I like to go to the store to buy stuffs...

Having purchased many off brand cables for iPhone, iPads, and iPods over recent years, I have leaned you can't beat buying the Apple brand. Off brands may work for a while, but they fail quicker and you have to replace them more often. Best Buys always has a good supply of the real thing!

The cords that originally came with my phone always seem to "turtle neck" after about 10 months of use. Also my lifeproof case will not allow me to use the plugs from my car charger...only the plugs that come with the phone will fit...so I need one for the car as well. This did the trick!

Relatively expensive with many well known competitors but I will no longer buy cables other than genuine Apple cables. They last longer, do not have compatibility issues, and the newest versions seem to be stiffer, which I hope translates into longer service life.

I love this apple charger. It was definitely a little more pricey for a replacement but it's totally worth it! I would rather pay $27 for a good charger that will last me rather than a $10 charger that can stop working at any time. I would very highly recommended this charger!

Purchased this item as a replacement for one lost. Item does what it should,. Good length as well.

Was undecided between the apple cable and other brand cables for my I phone 6. We all know how fast I phone cables peel from daily use, I decided to go with it anyways since I wasn't sure how good the other cables would be and I only use this as a back up cable so it's holding up.

A very durable and fast charging product, I would highly recommend it to family and friends.

After buying two chargers (non Apple brand) I have learned that it's better to spend the few extra dollars and buy the Apple brand charger. The other two either broke or wouldn't always work consistently at charging my IPhone 6. My only gripe with apple chargers is that I wish they were even more durable than they already are. All mine have broken in the same spot (right underneath where it plugs into the phone)

Apple accessories are always better than off brands but they are expensive.

I accidentally bent the OEM that came with my iPhone, so I needed a replacement right away. Decided to get the same cable since it never once gave me problems. It fits perfectly and charges quickly. It works just as the previous cable. Will not use any other manufacturer.

The cable is an apple product and its great in that it will not cause your phone to spontaneously combust. The main gripe I have is that it costs what it does but every one I've ever seen is fraying where at the point just below where it plugs into the phone. This what causes me to buy a couple of these per year, but I am still to chicken to go buy the off-breed ones.

It's a quality cable that I've had no issues with. On the other hand, my wife's iPhone 6 is in a LifeProof case and the boot around the connector is about 2mm wider than the OEM one so it doesn't fit. Fortunately my phone is in a Magpul field case and I've had no issues.

I needed an apple power cord for my iPhone 6. The other discount apple power cords are fine for a while, but at some point they aren't as reliable as they once were. The original apple power cord works just as it should and it's reliable. Just wish it weren't so expensive.
