I purchased the cable on recommendation from a Best Buy Associate. It is designed to be extremely durable, and easy to use. It is for better connection for the 4K TV I purchased with the Blu-Ray I also purchased. Very happy with the product.

You can never have too many cables. I keep them in my car, home office and of course on the road.I have used many, to include knock-offs but the ones that seem to hold up the best are the Apple made ones. They may be more pricey but they last.

Got a cheapo cable from eBay and my mom's iPhone kept showing an alert that the cable wasn't a genuine Apple lighting cable. So I bought this genuine Apple cord and the alert is gone from her phone. Definitely have safe of mind knowing her phone is using the proper equipment to be charged and the cord is compatible with her phone.

Just go for the Apple Branded Cable. At best buy, it's a difference of a few dollars. And it'll last longer too. I've had experience with several third party brand cables - just get the Apple Branded cable and save your self a head ache.

Expensive for a phone cord ,but it's a apple product that works good.

I have been tempted to buy the cheap ones you get in the market, and had a couple of ones, before finally buying this one. The cheap ones always show " This device is not supported" and would not connect to my macbook. Glad this one does

Ahh the price. The product works fine, but it is of such short length and so expensive that it is obscene. I should have done an extra assignment before purchase. I will recommend because of quality but not because of price, shop around first.

I've bought so many chargers for my phones it's ridiculous. You basically have to buy the original. I've bought chargers from target and countless 3rd party companies and nothing lasts like the original. Pay the price for it it's worth it.

No complaints here. My other cord was starting to have a lot of wear and tear so it was time to purchase another one. Wasnt sure if it was worth it to pay the extra money for the Apple brand but overall I am very happy and glad that I did.

When you have a IPhone or IPad and use it everyday eventually the cable will have to be replaced. After trying several other brands on line I found that purchasing the original replacement cable from Best buy did work perfectly every time!

Excellent product. I have a lifeproof case which only fits the original apple lightning cable. Fits tight and snug. Was able to use a discount that was mailed to me to purchase an original apple product much cheaper than the apple store.

OEM all the way. I have found other cables that work on my Iphones and my android devices but I have also had some not work or fit correct. If you want it to work for sure insist on Original Equipment Manufacturer

Buying an off brand cable for charging your iPhone is something I do not recommend. I have had a ton of issues from it not working half the time to becoming frayed. The cable here in this review is simply the best cable on the market.

This is about the 5th Lightning cable that I have purchased for my home. I purchased a back up for my wife to keep in her car; and I have a back up in each car (2) as well. I also purchased the 6' version to keep by the bed for my iPhone 6.

This cable worked well with my iphone 6 it is also very sturdy

Yes, you can buy other wires by other companies. If you do you may take a risk in quality or operation, as I have experienced before. An Apple for an Apple... Save yourself another trip from having to buy the "right" wire a second time.

This is the standard Apple Lightning Cable that comes with newer iPads. An unfortunate trip snapped the end off my first cable and this is an inexpensive replacement for original equipment. Will likely get another to have a spare on hand.

My first Apple charging cable frayed to a joint so I was using an off brand charging cable. It did not work nearly as well as the Apple charging cable for Apple devices. I would recommend using only the Apple cable for Apple products.

I have had several of these USB cables made by Apple and I've had to purchase new ones because they break and the ends become frayed and break down. I always purchase chargers from Apple because knock off cables are usually even worse but I would like to see Apple come out with a more durable USB cable for their phones.
