Too expensive and there are better 3rd party solutions that don't fray as easy as Apple's cord.

When will apple make a cord that lasts? These start breaking down with average use within months.

It broke the first week i had it.The cord was long which was good but it didn’t last.

Not a good purchase didn’t last long on my iPhone these are temporary chargers but it helped out when it did

I’ve had it since Jan 2021 and it’s now not even changing my phone it chooses when it wants to work

Did not even last two months. Length wise is good but the quality is bad

It took me almost an hour to buy this item, that is by far the worst service I have experienced in several years.

Keeps on failing. Third one I have had; the sheeting split on the first two. The third didn’t last long enough for that to happen.

Every apple cable is the same for me. The center pin on the lighting connector burns out or the cable splits. I will be trying a different brand next time

Necessary but that's the only reason I bought it. I can't believe Apple charges so much for some copper

Apple needs to do something about these chargers. They last about 8 months then it just suddenly stops working.

About two weeks after using it my phone doesn’t want to charge all the time

This is a replacement and even better I got it on a bargain!

This cable and the many i have have purchased since iphone 5 came out have been extremely disappointing. The durability is sub par. They wear out or crimp so quickly you are almost sure to have to purchase several of these a year. If the newer iphone and ipads were not so picky about cables i would try some additional third party cables that are more durable, but this has caused me pain in the past. I WISH apple would make better cables or a third party vendor could do a better job.

Pretty surprised to say charger stopped charging after a month and a half of daily use. Unfortunately, my return window (10 days) is over so the most I could do is warn people about purchasing an open box item. I also don’t believe it’s a genuine Apple charger. The cord feels different than the original that came with the phone. Worked until it no longer worked...

The good - Having a longer cord than what the ipad came with was great. The bad - after a month of use my ipad kept saying the cord was not compatible. I paid the extra money to have the actual apple brand instead of a cheap knock off. It should have been a good solid working product but ended up being a waste of money!

Great price compared to the apple chargers but then only lasted three months with no visible wear. i bout three and within days happed to all three.

These cords are all so unreliable and none of them last very long.

The material cord is made of tends to bend and fray and needs to be replaced often
