    Generic cords just aren’t the same! Apple certified is worth the extra money. Unless I loose it, pretty much lasts forever!

    I do not like getting off brand products. Only real drawback is the price, as it is expensive. You do you get what you pay for.

    I'm glad Apple made a charger with a longer cord. The longer length is much better than the 3 ft cord that originally comes with the phone.

    I have purchased many generic cords. After a few months of use they won’t charge. I have not had this issue with Apple cords.
