The charging cable works great. The only knock I have against it is that sheathing around the actual charging piece came loose after being tugged on too tightly. It is not a major issue at all.

It’s an Apple connector, period. Every independent replacement has failed in the past. However, even Apple cannot stand up to a puppy chewing it.
