I said, lawd Jesus, there's a fire. Wait, nope, this is about the cord. This is a long lightning cord. I would never have needed this if Apple wasn't so fabulous about being different. This is for iPhones 14 and older, but not like iPhone 1 old. It is six feet long, but still can't dunk.

So far, this cable has worked as it should. I have purchased cheaper cables and they don’t last. I like really like the 6.6’ length.

It was on Sale at Best Buy, I tried non apple branded USB cables before but they don’t work as good , it is best to stick with the manufacturer tested accessories especially when it is an expensive piece of electronics. Long cables are best when dealing with children so they don’t get pulled and abused often. I am finding more better deals and genuine at Best Buy versus Amazon , and I have been Amazon prime members when amazon launched prime since 2005, I am starting to appreciate Best Buy better

The longer cord makes it so much easier to charge my phone and be able to read my kindle app in bed at night. Long enough to run all the way behind my bed. Have not had any problems with cord not charging since my last one quite charging which is why I had to buy new cord in the first place.

It was worth spending $10 more than the generic charge. The electronic items charge quickly and the extra length on the cord is beneficial.
