How many times are you out and about and need to charge your devices? You frantically look around for an outlet only to see that all the seats near the outlet are consumed. Ugh. Then you need this official cable. You know it works with your Apple device. Now you can plug it in and sit at the table just out of reach of mere mortal cables. The cable itself is a bit sturdier than the one included with the products. I have not owned it long enough to see if it will separate near the charge port connector as the cables often do.

The length of the cable is fantastic allowing for greater mobility. It charges just as fast as the shorter cable. It was purchased to replace one I purchased a couple of years ago. It still works well but the outer covering has split in a small area.

Apple chargers seem to last longer than other brands but wish they weren't so expensive

Genuine Apple cables are consistently the best for iPhones. I have tried other manufacturers and they simply do not last.

This cord makes a lot easier to use the phone with this longer cord. Seems to be built stronger than the 3ft.

I have given up buying off brand chargers. The Apple brand is more expensive but do last a bit longer. Nice long cord

I needed a longer charging cable for my iPad and I wanted a apple cable. This 2 meter 6 feet 6 inch cable did the trick

I always regret buying of brand. Cable has lasted longer than my last 5 chargers. 6 foot also clutch for long range charging

The Apple cables fit in the Ipod case when others don't and last longer than the off-brands. They are overpriced, but I'm willing to pay extra for the peace of mind that the cable will fit whatever case is covering my (or my kid's) Apple product.

Product exactly what I needed, just the right extra length needed in office. Durable, and doesn't short after a few uses.

After buying other cords for iPhone I've decided that apples cord holds up the best and is worth spending the extra money
