I bought this cord to replace our previous one that had frayed. This cord doesn just what it needs to - charges our Apple tech. It is showing signs of bending near the end, though, whichmay lead to fraying like we had on our previous cord.

Ive tried different lighting charging cable but the OE product works the best. After long use the plastic just before the tip will crack.
