I like the extra length and my phone charges faster.

No matter where I would plug in the original charging cord for my ipad, the was never long enough to comfortably work on the ipad and charge it at the same time. This cord is just what I was looking for. Don't know how long they have been available, but very glad that they are.

Hard to find long enough cord for our kitchen. Nice product.

After buying cords on the run because my other cord stopped working I decided that to stop buying junk and buy the right product first time. The few that I bought added up to the amount I spent on the cord I bought from apple at Best Buy, besides when I need to use the cord in an emergency it did not work....really frustrating.

Great quality and the extra length is super convenient.

A while back I plugged my cell phone into my laptop with a generic iphone 5 cable. My laptop died and I had to take it to a mac store to bring it back to life. Some research I did online told me that this is common. So I vowed to only plug apple cords into my laptop. And this long one is awesome if you plug your phone in near your bed.

I needed a charger for my iPhone and it works great. It's longer than I thought. Good price too.

Cable was durable .The length was perfect because the plug in my room is a bit far from where by bed is and having a long cable really helps.

Don't know about anybody else, but I needed a longer cord to reach from my outlet to nightstand, outlet to table or outlet to chair. This cord fits that need without over stretching. All others were short for charging only and not to be used while plugged. So now I can watch a movie without sitting in a corner. Great product!

I love this 6ft cable. I kept yanking the old cable out of the power strip because it was too short if I wanted to use my phone (or iPad) when it was charging. This cable is so much more convenient!! It was worth the higher price.

Because it is so long, I can sit on couch or lounge on my bed while charging. Seems to be faster than the charger that came with the phone.

I was in desperate need of an apple charger and didn't want to have to deal with the headache of finding parking at the mall to go to the Apple store. I decided to stop at Best Buy and purchased this charger there. Best decision of the day! Charged my phone and I was back in contact with my kids and family!

Great Apple cord. Pay a little more for true Apple product, but have the confidence that its designed for my iPhone. Love the length. When sitting on the couch and trying to reach the outlet, this is great. 2nd one I've purchase. One for the wife and one for me.

The minute I plugged this cable in, I knew something was amiss. The first evidence? The small wormhole that appeared in our living room, right next to our holstein cowhide recliner. Peering into it I could discern the snarling face of a Ferengi, likely somewhere out in the Gamma quadrant. Then things got really hairy. Brad shouted from the kitchen that he was detecting elevated tachyon levels from our Vita-Mix, so we immediately diverted power to our forward Romco Rotisserie array. Set it and forget it, indeed. Still no go. The wormhole continued to grow. So I did what anyone in this rather awkward situation would. I recalibrated our George Foreman Grill (about 10 picometers), ejected the warp core from our Dyson Ball Vac, and unplugged all the Magic Jacks in the house. Bingo. No more worm hole. I guess what I'm saying is that you can use this cable, but only if you have substantial Star Fleet training.

I have tried countless "other" charging cords that are out on the market. Everything from the cheap$9.99 to $39.99. These by Apple are the only ones that actually work and last. The only reason I buy more is because I have boys that borrow mine and seem to misplace them. That being said, I've never replaced an Apple one because it failed.

Bought 2 Apple charging cords less than 1 year ago, wires frayed and connection was poor resulting in no charging life left. Best Buy exchanges these, then I upgraded to a 6 foot cord. More versatility with a consistent product. Apple stands behind their product and this is important to this customer.

I love the length of the cord because I can plug in and still move around while using my phone. The only negative is I wish the part that plugs into the phone was sideways because I so often break the cord/wires from putting stress on the cord while using my phone.

The electricity goes in one end and out the other. I haven’t used it for synching, but I suspect it would work. Just like the cord that came with my phone, but now I can roll over while I’m plugged in, surfing MySpace, and eating low-fat Triscuits in bed.
