I'm glad that Apple decided to offer a longer lightning cable. It works great when you're not close to an outlet and need extra cable to maneuver and stretch out.

This length is really a game changer. It's great for the living room or common areas, particularly when you have guests over who would like to charge their device. Like most lightening cables, it has started to fray a bit after 11 months.

The iPhone charging cords you get with the initial purchase do not have enough length. This additional length is very beneficial when charging.

This cable is long enough to be convenient for bedside charging. We use it to reach the outlet while still being handy as an alarm clock on a bedside table.

The Apple branded connectors are hands down the best quality of these i have seen. Also, this cable is thicker than the standard length and feels like it will last a long time.

This cable is great. About twice as long as the original cable. It's a little thicker, so a little hard to coil up and un-coil. But that's OK with me. It's longer.

6-footer is much more useable than the 3-footer. Typical Apple quality.
