I purchased this cord to charge an older iPad Air2. This cord is a thicker version. I was having difficulties charging this iPad with thinner cords. I also like the length. My son can use his iPad while charging on long car trips.

So far the Apple lightning cable is doing it's job. Better quality than the apparent knock-off I purchased previously.
