    I've tried to buy off-brand lightning cables and been frustrated when they don't work. Though Apple products cost more, I know they will work.

    Highly recommend this over the standard charger. Non-apple chargers don't usually last as long as the Apple certifiedd ones.

    It's expensive and that's how Apple makes so much money, but don't buy cheap cables unless you want to fry your device. Remember, the only thing worse than buying an Apple device is having to buy one twice.
