Great replacement/additional cord. We upgraded our MacBook and had to retire the old chargers. I like having a charger in both the living room and master bedroom so that I don’t have to unplug the charger and haul it around the house. This combined with an additional charging block I purchased works great as our living room and travel charger

These longer charging cables are worth having in many situations. Having the right product, specifically made by the/an original manufacturer, is worth the few extra dollars. I have had friends with other manufacturer's products (non-original/OEM) and their cables get warm. That brings to mind materials quality questions. The bottom line - OEM parts are specific to the products we buy, and Apple parts are the right products for our expensive iPhones and iPads.
