True apple cables cost more but they always perform better than other certified cables. This 6 ft cable is more convenient than the 3ft cable.

Works great and is of higher quality than any off brand you could buy from amazon or eBay. This one lasts a lot longer than cheaper ones and is long too!

The cord is long enough so I don't have to sit too close to a power source. It is also fast.

I like the extra long length of this cable. I also like the it is an Apple product. I bought a generic brand on line at Amazon that I sent back because it did not work.

We are using this at our outside pavilion. It really helps to have the six foot cord. It charges our devices quickly.

My old cable was on its last legs, nearly two years old, so I decided to buy a new one. I'll only buy the apple cable because they charge faster and last longer.

I have a LIFEPROOF waterproof case for my iPhone. I like it better than the Otter cases because it's less cumbersome. There are two setbacks that you need to be aware of first. The music quality is poor if you're listening on the phone only vs Bluetooth/wirelessly connected to earbuds or speakers. You cannot use an aftermarket cable to charge. ONLY the Apple cords fit. That's to keep the waterproof seal tight to the USB when connected. But, this review is for the Apple 6.6' USB cord. It works flawlessly, hence the 5 star rating. It's just too expensive.
