Very disappointed in this Apple charging cord. I purchased it in October 2021. It has already started splitting. The quality only held up 4 months.

After 2 week of use, I don’t know why apple is doing that. My review date is not gonna match with my purchase date, I just had time to write review.

This charging cord is terrible. I only had it 5 weeks and rarely use it and it’s unraveling already.

This charge is already having a shortage and the outer cord is tearing and I’m honestly unsure and disappointed.

These cords durability is not great at all they short out fairly fast and peel a lot

I'm obsessed with this long charger cable! It's literally been a game-changer for me. High quality product, it is pricier than that of a third party wire, but it is apple, and that means it will last longer than a third party wire, and it will charge MUCH faster than a third party wire! It is a decent length so you don't have to be sitting next to the outlet, but it could be longer. Make sure you always use wire by grabbing boxy parts to lengthen the lifetime of mint condition! Pricier but it will last longer than buying 10 drugstore wires.:)

We use these 2M cables to charge the phones on our night stands. The cable is long enough to allow you to use the phone in bed without unplugging it. Most of the third party cables we have tried had issues with charging/data, so we stick with the Apple brand Lightning cables now. They are pretty durable for standard use. My son however is hard on cables though, and usually ends up with internal wiring exposed after a year, but the cables keep working. He tried third party cables with more durable sheaths, but he also came back to Apple cables due to compatibility problems.

I had been looking for a long cord and spent a lot of money buying cheaper cords that eventually stopped working. I bit the bullet and decided to buy the apple cord. The six foot length is very convenient and works every time. Always buy the Apple version since it will save you money in the long run. I figured that over the past year I have spent at least $50 on cheaper cords when I just could have spent $30 and had a working cord. You will not regret buying this cord.

I'm one of those weirdos who only trusts Apple cables. I - unlike many other people - have never had any issues with Apple cables. Namely, even my oldest lightning cables (and 30-pin cables for that matter) still work fine...they're just off white now instead of white. Anyway, this works, of course; it's a bit expensive but if you get it on sale it's worth it. I can now easily maneuver my phone while plugged in on my desk which was a bit challenging with the 1m cable...

Hello, I purchased these 6'-6" registered Apple Trademark cables and I am very pleased with them, the reason for the longer length is for my couch, the cable goes from the outlet under the couch to the front for convenience to charge all my apple products (except laptops) I have the iPad charger hooked up to the 6'-6" cable and it quickly charges my iPhone and families iPhones too. I just want buyers beware of the inexpensive online and cheap in mall fakes I know people buy the fake non trademark Apple cables to save money but after time they fail so spend a extra $20.00 and get well made cables. They also hold up to my grandson pulling the connector from the wire part of the cable. Oh if your in the market definitely get the longer cable. NOTE: I bought one more 6'-6" cable for my bedroom night stand that actually is long enough to use while laying down watching TV and texting too. Thank you for reading Reviews help consumers .

Great length and fast charging capabilities. I have used approved for apple and knockoff brands and did not get same charging speed. Pricier than other brands but well worth the monies spent. Better off spending the extra ten dollars for the 6 feet cable than getting the three foot cable. Hope quality is good since other brands tended to fray rather quickly.

I know there are other cables but these cause the least amount of problems for my phone. Third party ones that I've used in the past tend to make my phone hot. I never have this issue using Apple cords. You pay a premium for the brand name but it's a small price to pay if you have to have your phone replaced due to burning out on you. Plus I like being able to have the extra slack for places like airports and waiting areas.

These cords don't last forever, but they do hold up and keep working even with worn spots. And they will fit through Lifeproof and other phone case openings when other brands don't. This length keeps the charging device usable, too. So worth the extra bucks.
