The extra length helps charge the phone at a greater distance from plug

I purchased a off brand cord and it worked for a couple of months and all of a sudden the cord was not compatible with my Iphone 6+ so I purchased a real Apple Cord so far so good and it has been a couple of months.

Other cords work perfectly fine but I've found that if you're looking for the Apple feel, go with this cord. It doesn't tangle and I know it's overpriced but I think it's worth it. I've run through too many other cords that tangle or break or don't charge sometimes.

It's a lightning cable. It works. They're expensive, but that's Apple's fault. :-)

It works as intended, but is also very overpriced and not well-made. I.e. the cable is prone to fraying even when it is very gently treated. Apple quality has gone very downhill in recent years. But if you need a longer cable that Apple will not block from use (they do that to third-party cables all the time) then here you are.

Apples products always seem to be top of the line. I feel it might be a little to much but will out last the others.

This cable surprised me that it seems thicker and better built then the one that came w phone

It's an apple product so you know its going to work. It will last a long time if you treat it well. My phone charges quickly with this cord.

Pricey but utterly reliable since it is by Apple for Apple.

The original Apple 2 meter lighting charging cord is the best. It gives you the same quality charging and syncing of data as the smaller cord with less hassle. Don't buy knock-offs as they don't work as well. Stick with the original and you'll be happier.

I like that the replacement cord I purchased for my ipad was much longer than the original cord!

I’ve been buying non-Apple cables off of the internet and they ALL stop working after a few months. I finally just bought an Apple cable and it’s all good now. No more worries about whether or not my phone is charging. Decent price on it!

A great cable to charge Apple iPhone. Like all other Apple products a little pricey

I did not like the price of it but it has a good size length to it.

The cord length is perfect. Especially when you want to charge your phone on the desk . Easily reaches from standard outlet height to desk with room to move it around and pick it up without being restricted.

Great length, a little overpriced (story of Apple's life). I recommend it nonetheless.

While aftermarket cables work well for awhile it seems that once the battery starts degrading on the iPhone that any other cable does not charge. This is the only one that consistently works.

I enjoy the longer charger. Perfect for charging in the car for the kids in the backseat

Needed a new cable for my iPad. I choose this one due to the extra length. Very happy with my choice. Longer length allows for easier use while iPad charging which the original USB Cable that came with the iPad did not.

Just a longer cord to not be as teathered to the outlet while charging items.
