The lightning cable that comes with the phone is too short if you actually need to use the phone while charging. This one is long enough to connect to power in an airport without having to sit on the floor next to the power outlet.

Like the extra length, no longer do you need to stay close to an outlet

It’s a good length but o wish it was a variety of colors

This Apple cable is original type of connection cable. They all have a tendency to split at the connection point so it’s good to have a spare on hand. Quicker then purchasing at the Apple Store and is the same cord.

This cable is much better for a plug that is not close by, better than the standard.

I've always found Apple's USB charging cables to be more reliable than anything I can grab-and-go at a 7-Eleven or any other convenience store. You get what you pay for I guess.

I got this cord and I won't look back. The outlet is so far away from my bed that I need something that can reach past my nightstand, curving around it so that I can set my phone on the surface. I highly recommend it.

If you're an Apple fan boi or just something that works then Yeah don't use your common sense and just buy it. If you still have some intelligence left even though you're using iPhone than try some other cables from companies like Anker. Way better quality, more durable and charge faster. Worth the price unlike this one.

I have bought less expensive charging cables. MISTAKE! Sometimes they would work. Sometimes they would not. The Apple cable works every single time. Buy what you know will work.
